Why don't you type up a list and then advertise on the cross stitcher (magazine) notice board. (saying something like send sae for list of mags) I don't think they charge for this so you would save ebay fees although not paypal if people paid you that way. Would be a bit of a faff but might be worth it?

I will say though if you have this mag.... please would you save for me :j

aahh FE sorry this wasn't among my stash.

    Hi ladies.

LindseyandMatthew. Nice fathers day card, cute.

Chicky. Good luck with the interview.

Mrsmp. Very nice Poppy panel, look forward to seeing it as a finished cushion.

As for me. I officially hate stitching with white thread!! Pretty much every single stitch looks untidy (to my eyes at least) I'm having to railroad the top half of every stitch to make it look half decent.
Nevermind, all part of the fun I guess :D

  • Afternoon ladies... Sorry for the huge post :o

, Thanks for your explination on your Mario designs. As they are full stitches and blocky designs I can see how you can follow them without having to buy the pattern.

BEG, that updated picture of sleeping beauty is stunning. I can't believe how fast you are completing this :T

Erics mum, lovely designs. I certainly like the lake scene picture.

Louise, great to see you back :D

FOS, great updates. I think the 12 days is beautiful, have you stitched it on sparkly aida?

Thanks for the update soulie, I hope your MRI scans come back with some more positive news.

Skoobie welcome back! I am glad to see your wedding went well and you seem to have had an amazing time. Sorry you have had to come home to very indifferent weather :rotfl:

Caroline more great progress, the design is still growing on me ;)

Masie that military stitches picture looks great. I agree with mrs moneypenny the frame works well. I like how you have chosen a neutral appature.

Shelly still love that design, so bright and cheerfull a much more happier Christmas design.

Chicky, cute finished bugs :D Were they a magazine design or a chart/kit design?

Welcome Keza, nice looking sampler there, really like the border.

Lindsayandmatthew, cute little fathers day design there. Lots of colour changes though in that chair  Think it gives the design a good look though. Will it be put on a card or in an appature?

mrs moneypenny, those poopy's look great, very bright and perfect to brighten up a sofa I think. Will it take long to make it into a cushion?

Little stitching done from me between madness at work. I have now got 3/4 of the heart done in half stitch. I am hoping to get that all finished before the weekend. I will then be experimenting on how to finish it :rotfl:

thank you. I dont think so, i was going to put a zip in BUT ive bought a huge piece of fabric £1.50 a yard and its 60inches wide!!!!:T
i am thinking of doing it like a pillow case so it folds over two pieces on the back, if i cut two pieces 2/3rds the width of the panel, hem them along that edge then lay them on so they overlap in the middle then sew all around the four edges it should give me enough of an opening to put the cushion in and then cover over it and hide it. well thats the theory;)
im also going to line the back of the panel with a piece of white polycotton (old sheeting) to keep it neater.
