Happy Anniversary shelly and tricksie - hope you've both had a lovely day.

Cushion front looks great winnie. Thinking of you and your family. x

Managed some stitching today but have started to flag a little bit so have decided to put it away for the night as I've already had to reverse stitch a couple of times today. :o Going to veg out on the sofa now to watch the Soap Awards. Now - do I want a little glass of wine with savoury nibbles or will it be a cuppa with a little bit of something sweet (I think someone in the Cafe mentioned chocolate cake earlier - any left by any chance???? ;):D).

    Take care everyone

Had a lovely day with DH and am now catching up on here on my new tablet. Anniversary present. It was our second so I went cotton and bought him a pair of Levi 's. ;)

No stitching today but managed a few hours yesterday. I am now on page 7 of 9 of my map.

Here is a little cross stitch sampler that I've recently stitched. For such easy to follow instructions, I wont tell you how many times I went wrong!

Thanks Mrs.M. Actually it was a white aida that I soaked in tea! The photo doesn't show but it's a richer brown colour.

shelly - I have played around with the letters on wine and coming to the conclusion the misspelling looks the best. What do you think Maisie M? I'm just avoiding that area atm :o.

    Hi Beg

I ended up just going with the mis-spelling. I tried it at the side so it was parallel to the L but it looked strange so I decided to leave it 'austraila' and see if anyone wants to play spot the deliberate mistake by the designer :rotfl:

    Lovely stitching from everyone.

Well done to Louise for the fundraising and good luck to all those doing Race for Life. Such a good cause and a fantastic thing to do. I would love to do it in memory of my friend but need to lose a few stone first, and get fit before I start running. I had a hip replacement last year and I don't want to run on it at the weight I am incase I put it out.

Winnie - hope things went as well as they could today. Not easy to see someone when you know you are saying goodbye. Hugs to you and your husband.

Happy anniversary Ticksie and Shelley - hope you both had a good one.

JCS - gorgeous kittens they are so cute.

haven't done much on Let's wine the last few nights as been feeling a bit tired, probably all the gardening I have been doing lol. Anyway I have completed a keyring and nearly finished a geisha girl card for my stash.

Great minds think alike. Yesterday I studied it again and thought s*d it - here goes - let's see how many people spot the mistake. Do I wait for the recipient to point it out to me or do I say something to her after I have given it to her???

Got to go now will pop back in later to catch up with you all.

    Hello Girls,

Sorry I have been missing in action - been busy with work and life in general - but still I have been stitching away on my Sandy Hook heart in yellow and now I have finished it.

    108_0724_zpsdbd81a2a.jpg

Not too sure about my signature on it but I guess thats the nature of yellow.

Now onto the orange - as I have a days leave today - will start it later - getting a paranoid over time as I have orange and red to do as well as, one for a wee girl (same birthday as me), the school and the hospital. I am not managing to do any at work now as my lunch time has been cut.

Thinking of you and your family winnie and the journey you have to go on.

Love the cushions I have seen on here - not very good at "normal" sewing.

Keep well everyone - till next time.

    sweetcarer ;)
