love those greggs ones in iceland but it's tooo far away :( good idea tho i might even get my steak pie fix if i get them.

the green didn't come out :( just turned blue!! the boys should not have got me up at 6.30 (tho subconsciously awake since 6 when ds2 started squawking) as I am not in a good mood!!!! esp as hubby decided to come to bed after 3am (day off today) and is still snooring.

good luck with the ebaying caroline. inlisted loads and sold 2 bits. some cross stitch crazy mags for £7.50 (which i have to post today) and a drinking chess set for £1.50.

i did get rid of DS2's bed guard yesterday (£5) but selling is pretty slow at moment. still trying to sell DS2's old clothes - had more interest in them last night but waiting on them to come back to me.

    Hi all!

Some amazing progress photos, and so sorry about what happened to your stitching chicky! Has it come out? I really hope so :)

Just wanted to share this one that I've fallen in love with:

    http://www.sybilladavisdesigns.co.uk/acatalog/St-Michaels-Mount-Cornwall.html

I'm from Cornwall so I've done plenty of these types of kits before - this woman makes kits of Cornish landmarks. I MUST have this one! My mum works as a steward on the Mount and if I made and framed it, it would make a great gift! But her birthday's over - Christmas maybe?

    Hello everyone,

Long time lurker on here, all your work's very impressive, but this is the first time I've posted. I'd like to do a small cross stitch wedding sampler for a friend's daughter's wedding & was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a free pattern. I've searched this thread & the internet but think I must be doing something wrong as not getting very good results. I have the pattern I've seen used on here a few times but fancied doing something a bit different this time.

I was going to get a present from their wedding gift list but have just been made redundant so now have the time & not the money! I think the bride would appreciate this as my friend is very creative (but not x-stitch) & gives her daughter many of her makes, so she knows how much work can go into these things. I've stopped making things for people who don't appreciate the work that's gone into them.

    Thanks a lot for reading...
  • Chicky, sorry to hear of the problems with your OH :( How frustrating about that finished piece too. Have you tried stain remover? Or is it a bin job?

gildius, that St Micheals mount kit is amazing, I love the water. I quite like this design too :D

Anyone on there travels found any nice 30th brirthday kits? I made my sister a hand designed name plaque for her 18th and she has asked for something for her 30th :o It has to be something quite quick/small. After googling I can't find anything suitable  Thanks

i just binned it PAP. as it wasn't a pressie (just going to a new home for free instead of in my stash box) it's not worth me paying out for stain removal etc.

Can I say that I'll gladly receive and use anything dealing with cross stitch? I'm just getting started with the craft, so I barely have anything supply wise, but I've fallen in love with cross stitching! If you'd like, you can pm me, or I can pm you if you'd rather for any details needed.
    Thanks! :)
