Do you have anywhere in the house that is mainly yours? Kitchen? Spare room used as craft room?
Having said that I usually show designs to DH before I stitch them and if he really dislikes something I won't bother stitching it for our house
Would someone else you know like it? You could be ahead on your Xmas present list
. Or could it be used as the top of a sewing box which would obviously be yours. Or as a cushion?
Morning all.
Me and hubby had a huge argument last night. Started off with cross stitch and escalated. I had to stay with family members. Feeling absolutely knackered. All of my cross stitch stuff is back at the house. I could treat myself to a mag I supposeI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
That look amazing. I think I'd be scared to open anything, would just look lovingly at it for hours.
That did make me laugh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My EX husband was always funny about me displaying my cross stitch. So I left him and can now display as much as I like. DH2 is very proud of my efforts. He takes photos on his phone and shows people!
I am now a Granny. GS was born on Tuesday at a whopping 10lb 8oz. Been to see him this afternoon and he's so cute. Mum and baby doing well
Congratulations. Grandchildren are wonderful. Feel for the Mum though0 -

And onto Nightwing.
Love this. Very cute
Last weekend I stitched the middle letter of the superheroes name plaque I'm doing for GS3 Had to choose his favourite superheroes so the letters don't match the name. The M is Hulk. He wouldn't accept anything with superhero women on it. Think it's to do with having a bossy but very girly older sister

Thanks JCS, :rotfl: at your cat, mine is prob the same, my dog yesterday took some normal beads for a walk. I like the look of the krenik thread too, I need to use them. Out of interest when you stitch a bead on how do you do it? Do you do half the stitch as normal then pick up the seed bead on :
When I stitch seed beads I do a cross stitch using 1 strand of thread so I go through each bead twice. This helps to keep them in place. And if I'm doing a large area of beads I do an occasional small back stitch on the back of the piece to anchor the thread. Don't want saggy beads:D0 -

Do you want us girls to come down and hold him while you dodge him? You should treat yourself to a mag esp with a cover kit and also a big sticky donut before with a cup of tea - calms the nerves etc before stitching.
