The Technology one is SO on my wish list - same as PAP - I'd like it just to turn into cards. I shew it around at work when it was first posted and we all had a good laugh
I WILL do some stitching tonight....... but do I do some superhero quilt or something else?
Is anyone else finding this thread weird??? No matter when I look it always tells me there is a new post (displays in bold) whether that is 10 seconds after I have looked or 2 hours. Even when I post it still tells me there are new posts yet still shows that I was the last post. Its the only one to do it - very weird.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. Beads and embellishments
And fabric, krenik, and the amazing waterlillies threads (never used these before)
That look amazing. I think I'd be scared to open anything, would just look lovingly at it for hours.Ruth_honey wrote: »Maybe you should hang him in the under stairs cupboard?!?
That did make me laugh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:My EX husband was always funny about me displaying my cross stitch. So I left him and can now display as much as I like. DH2 is very proud of my efforts. He takes photos on his phone and shows people!
I am now a Granny. GS was born on Tuesday at a whopping 10lb 8oz. Been to see him this afternoon and he's so cute. Mum and baby doing wellCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44:rudolf:Cross Stitch Is For Life Not Just For Christmas :rudolf:0 -

Sorry for adding to your list FOS!Seed beads look the same as other ones I've used in the past, though haven't yet got around to opening them - daren't with an inquisitive cat in the house :rotfl:
Thanks JCS, :rotfl: at your cat, mine is prob the same, my dog yesterday took some normal beads for a walk. I like the look of the krenik thread too, I need to use them. Out of interest when you stitch a bead on how do you do it? Do you do half the stitch as normal then pick up the seed bead on the final pass?chickywiggle wrote: »The Technology one is SO on my wish list - same as PAP - I'd like it just to turn into cards. I showed my brother it too Chicky and he had a giggle. That would be who I would make the cards for. I don't think he would appriciate the whole thing to put in a frame. Enjoy it, I am going to watch ebay for a chart only... However I know Bothy are funny with there charts and they don't have the DMC numbers. Are they still like that? Love bat girl!
Sweetcarer, good luck with it and I am hoping for a great outcome :T
Going to do a pic tonight and update my progress. Just need to get my camera back from lil brother :rotfl:0 -
Morning all
I hope everyone has a fab stitchy weekend planned :j
I also received WOXS yesterday so I'm looking forward to sitting down and having a proper nose at it later! I don't think much of the free gift this month though. I would much rather have a kit.
I also like the Bothy Threads technology kit but not sure I like it enough to buy.
What is everyone planning on stitching this weekend?0 -

Sorry?? " Let you "??? Last time I looked it was 2013 not 1813
Do you have anywhere in the house that is mainly yours? Kitchen? Spare room used as craft room?
Having said that I usually show designs to DH before I stitch them and if he really dislikes something I won't bother stitching it for our house
Would someone else you know like it? You could be ahead on your Xmas present list. Or could it be used as the top of a sewing box which would obviously be yours. Or as a cushion?
