So I spent about £40 on Wednesday but it was worth it and I had a smashing time.
Haven't spent much since either in fact I think I've only bought milk
I had some more overtime this weekend too, as long as I keep this up I may get to payday with some money left over to go towards the savings.
I hate how slow the last bit of the month goes hahaSave £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

I have a week off now and this is where it always bites me.
I sit on the Internet for hours and 9 times out of 10 ending up buying something big
Apple products are my nemesis they are soo expensive but so lovely to own! I've already started looking at laptops:mad: and I wouldn't mind but i don't think mine is a year old yet!!

Turn off the not-even-one-year-old-laptop and go out on a training walk every time you feel like purchasing something!!! You'll feel so proud of yourself if you get to the end of the week you haven't spent unnecessary money and you've trained every day!!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!Nest Egg Savings Target: £7300/£10,000

Hey Debtfree
I wish I had seen that earlier! I did put the laptop down but only to go shopping
But in my defence I got all my sun cream for my holiday in sept? Usually when I go at the end of the year it's like £13 a bottle but yesterday it was all buy one get one free or half price?? So in theory I have saved by buying??
I also got a new bikini and a new dress:eek:
Ok failed didn't I?

I stuck to my word and stayed out of the shops!:T
I've also not spent anything online either so quite proud of myself!
I'm shocked its Thursday already, this week has gone so quick
I got asked to do some more overtime on sat so happy about that, it also gives me some time to catch up on this week whilst I've been off so takes the pressure off on Monday.
Payday next week and now I'm just counting down those days...Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Morning all
Wow I can't believe it's taken me a whole week to post.
The good news is there have been no spends from me :j
The bad news is I have a wedding, 2 birthdays, 1 anniversary and car insurance to budget for this monthwith no overtime available..
Luckily because I paid all my debts last month I have saved this month so I'm hoping the savings pot will cover my insurance.
I also managed to top up my holiday fund, but that's getting worrying as it has to be paid by the end of June and Its going to be next to impossible to get the remainder before then.
So for the 1st time in my life I have 2 savings pot:T
But both will be empty again shortly - how depressing:o
My loan payment should be coming out 1st week of the month so can update that part of my sig soon.Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

You're doing fab 1stTimer!!
And surely the whole reason of having savings pots is to spend them on certain things?! You certainly can't beat yourself up for covering holiday and insurance costs with your own money!!
