    Morning all,

I'm ashamed to say I fell at the first hurdle:o

The envelope system lasted a whole day!
But it was my mums b-day so I spent a fair amount this week on presents and a meal etc, I can't say I regret it too much because she looked soo happy and cried a little ( well at least I think they were good tears!)

But back on the wagon now, just in time for the weekend

I didn't manage to pay off my credit card either which has deflated me a bit. I still have £300 to pay so I'm setting my self a challenge to find that £300 any way I can and pay it off before next payday.

    I'm going to
Dig out all my loose change (I have saved it in a shoe box for approx a year so could be a fair amount in there)
Going to try and do another boot fair at some point
See if there is anything left to eBay
And I'm sure I can think of some other things but I will clear that pesky card by payday!

    Happy Friday people

I went to the pub last night and didn't spend anything:beer:

I've just counted my shoebox of change and can now pay £100 of the card, I've also decided to pay the remainder off with my savings so the card is done! :T:T

Now just my loan to go which stands at £10,617 - the plan now is i'm going to stick £500 a month into the savings from next pay day and up my loan from £341 a month to £500 just to bring it down a bit quicker.

I was hoping to have a NSD today but going swimming later so will have to pay to get in, other than that though I shouldn't spend anything.

No overtime this weekend but should have the next 2 Saturdays if all goes to plan and bank holiday mon too.

Have bread and spread for tomorrow so long may it continue.

Looking at opening a savings account today haha never thought I'd say that! I really hope I can stick with this mentality:o
