The bonus of living on a farm in the middle of nowhere is that I have alot of NSD's cos theres nowhere to go! The trouble is when I go to town I GO TO TOWN! Hence budget! And I have a week left of May yet!
(I did however manage to make a pound of mince do three meals for two adults and 2 hollow legged teenagers this week!)

I have totted up my spends so far and we have spent £135! This has included a bit of stocking up on dog food and GF that was on offer. Busy week which has meant we have had a couple of takeaways.
We will need a few basics and the makings for Sunday lunch to last us until Thursday when I plan to do a weekly shop. I have decided that I am only doing one shop a week on a Thursday and if we haven't got it then we ain't getting it.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

First shop of the month and I've spent £33.27, it was mostly half price stocking up.
My monthly total is wrong here. It should be £350 not £340. I said £10 per week for stocking up but I'll get 5 weeks in my dates not 4.0 -
My Cloud 9 order (£14.75) arrived yesterday, so i will split the total of this between June and July. Hello folks
Could I be included for £300 please.
Will change things slightly as reduced budget. I shop on a fortnightly basis so will aim for around £120 for the main shops (so £60 per week) and as low as poss interim top ups.
Thanks to all.

Hi everyone
I'm back after a messy divorce so I'm starting my grocery challenge up again (i was always the saver in our family) ... I'm hoping to take my 2 boys to Florida next year so am trying to be as thrifty as possible, and I saved so much last time actually just writing it on here
So could you please put me down for £250 per month ... Fingers crossed
Thanks Lisa xDFW

Hi everyone,
So I've had a year off from the grocery challenge and boy have I slipped back to my old ways and old spending habits. I know I managed before on about £380 a month for 2 adults, 2 teenagers/eating machines, 7 year old DD and cat.. this was for all food, cat food, household and toiletries.
I know I've been spending nigh on £600 but haven't kept a record so would dread to think what it actually is! You were all such a great help last year with ideas and even just checking in and recording spends meant I felt in control.
So, I'm going to do this with a budget of £500 this month to ease me back in to getting back into the right mindset and habit of keeping records, with the goal of reducing my target again in July.
Regaining control is my mission this month!Grocery Challenge: June £92/£5000
