Right, washing in, need to now do washing up then off into town before lunch - thinking of making those fabby omlettes in the oven ala Black Saturns recipe (i think!). I've got some bacon I need to use and eggs and cheese, as well as some softening tomatoes.

oooh not made it out the day yet - just ordered 2 tickets to see Enchanted at the cinema in Decemeber - showed Sophia the trailer and she's so excited! 500 nectar points each ticket for Vue which I don't think is too bad.
Has meant I need to get a few more nectar points now to redeem for a Christmas present I wanted to get a friend, but I think that'll be easily done.
Right, off to actually DO things now!

OMG - well, wool is NOT cheap - shocker! I did buy some though -at the ridiculous price but am going to search on ebay now I know what I want for the rest of the scarves. So far got about 3 inches for the little boy tomorrow
need to go a bit faster - thinking I'll be knitting throughout the rugby tonight rather than scrapping!
Got Sophia some children's needles, but I think she'll have to wait til grandma comes to have the patience to teach her...I just haven't got that patience. Bad mummy!!
Anyhoo, best be off to catch up and then get on with some of that list!

Well, I have aching hands now as have ust knitted furiously throughout the final - blurgh. Nuff said really.
I'm never gonna get this damn scarf finished! I will have to tho as bloody wool so expensive. I redeemed myself with a really bargainatious shop at b&m bargains though and have got loads of pressies - spent £45 but son is all sorted for Christmas including stocking (apart from socks & vests lol!), Sophia is pretty much sorted - will be able to use points to get the rest o fher presents, loads of fabby boxes for the hampers bought and other presents too. Just brilliant. Also got exactly the wool I wanted for 49p (got 5 balls for scarves!).
Now need to get Ebaying as I've spent all my Christmas budget already lol and have nothing left! I have used some amazon vouchers tonight as well from surveys which is great. Will be getting some Argos vouchers through as well - so will be able to use those for any more presents I need to get. Worked out that I can get my mum's stuff from the pound shop (just some birdy bits for the garden) with the jars too so that won't be too much.
So need to get all the vouchers and points from all my various pots to cover what I still need to get!
Anyhoo, not that interesting, best go and knit some more!

Sea I think the scarves sound lovely though maybe adults would like them more than young children.
I remember getting a pair of home-knitted gloves for my birthday when I was nine or ten and being really disappointed. Last Christmas I got two pairs of gloves, and I was thrilled.
I haven't found the hampers thread, and I haven't looked at the journal-jar site again either. I'm definitely in denial about Christmas.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
