Give CCCS a try - if your voice doesn't hold out, well at least you have tried!

Right, pretty much done everything now - just need to fling a hoover round the house and put away the washing. OH is coming back early as he's off out to watch the footie so off to Tescos with my list when he does (with Sophia as well
) and also to Matalan for wonderful tin mini baths for some of the hampers I'm doing for Christmas. Gorgeous!
Done washing - except fuse has blown again in plug so will have to get another one and change that over to finish the last 2 loads. Filing done, letters posted, budget for rest of month worked out (not good as fitting int he christmas stuff and also the £75 repayment to b-i-l but still ok).
Right - 5 mins before running with hoover takes place - jsut enough time to finish my cuppa and have a little browse on here!

oooh and I ordered a few vouchers from my survey sites to use at Argos for Christmas pressies (£10 but nearly got enough points for another £10 and the piggypoints are slowly adding up too). Also getting freefivers payout this month as well so will be using that towards DD's birthday party- £28.75, which should cover nearly all of it!

Hi Sea, hope you got everything you need. Did your voice last long enough for you to ring CCCS?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

No I didn't ring Hypno. Whoops. Will do so tomorrow - nothing that urgent actually as wen I was filing I reread the letter from HSBC, they did say they'd default me shortly, which would stop the charges at least for now! I'm ringing up in about a week to request a review anyway. Half term next week so I can sort things out fully.
I got the bath things - fabulous! Also saw some lovely baskets but they are just too expensive - going to try Instore instead. Brought the bath things home and they are so nice, I would love to get one! Especially with all the goodies I got.
I also spent a little too much atr Tesco (£60 - ooops). About £20 of it was Christmas related stuff though so only £40 on food. Lots of rubbish food for OH as he seems to be determined not to eat properly but I'm beyond caring! It was all stuff on offer though
Ran round with the hoover before so the house (downstairs at least) is looking better. Plug still broken so washing machine stuck mid cycle - grrr. Back to work tomorrow so will have to sort it tomorrow night.
Eaten lots of lovely pasta tonight - fully MSE - with tuna bought on special offer and tesco own sweetcornSmall things,eh?
Oh and when I was walking through town before, feeling all smug in my new fabulous (charity shop) coat and bloody bird pooed on me!!:rotfl:Classic. Fortunately it's all gone now. Pah!

hmm...can't be that lucky - jsut had a really bad day at work. Popped in to see the head and now I just feel belittled and devalued and am considering job hunting. Basically he dismissed me as jsut a 'mainscale teacher' who he wouldn't discuss important things with and when he'd come to a decision (long story regarding colleague leacing and more RE work available) he'd tell me what to do. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
So not feeling valued in anyway. Feel like all the work I did in London was for nothing and I'm 'just' a teacher here. Bah.
Going to go do the washing up and cooking now. Oh the joy.CCCS DMP:Feb 07

ooh just had a productive evening
Made me a little happier
I have now started my mum's main christmas pressie - a Love Jar - whereby I write down all the thing s I'm grateful for, happy memories, etc onto slips of paper and fold them all and put them into a decorated jam jar with a lovely label for her to pull one out of once a week. I'm also putting together a journal jar for her - lots of slps of paper with different questions - she pulls one out whenever, sticks it to the top of the lovely notebook page (I will get her a nice notebook and pen) and answers it. Some are long, some are short. I think she'll like it. I intend to put both jars into a small hamper with other small pressies and wrap it up - a good gift, that will only cost a little, but is going to take some time putting together!
I also found a site I can download a printable kit for a journal for kids so I might do that for my friend's little girlhttp://organizedchristmas.com/index-printable-gifts
So feeling a little happier and have just saved myself loads of cashCCCS DMP:Feb 07
