Hi Sea,
glad ur sig is stil going down! I don't know how DMPs work, but are u able to save up some money to pay off lump sums? Or is that seen as favouring one creditor over another?
How are ur knuckles? Still sore?

Thanks
My knuckles are all sorted now
Well, not really sure how things are going still. Have been quite restrained with spending still but now need to contact CCCS as am getting very odd letters from HSBC - demanding over £9000 and yet including incomings and outgoings form to fill out, but no instructions as to what to do with it! I won't be filling it in anyway as CCCS has all that stuff - but just need to check.
Sophia is doing well at school, had parents eve tonight, which quite frankly was a waste of both my time and hers - she's doing fine. Which I knew. Well, at least we are being kept up to date
OH been v v ill and so has been at home last two days - will ill this morning and because OH too ill to look after him (!!!!!!?) I had to take the day off which I hate doing...But at least William is all better now.
Hope all are well.

If you were ill, and one of the kids were ill too, would OH take the day off work to look after the ill child?
If not then

Hello Sea, how nice to see you, I've missed you recently.
How is working full-time? You must be completely exhausted. How is OH? Is he still being a pain?
Well done to Sophia for getting a good report. Does she enjoy school too? I always find parents evenings upsetting (even though my children get good reports) as the teachers only seem to notice whether they meet arbitrary attainment targets, not if they are getting on with their friends, hating PE or whatever.
Hope all is going well for you and hope to catch up soon.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

HI
Well, after taking the day off on Thursday - OH then had to take the day off on Friday childminder's daughter was really ill, so he had to look after William (although he was fine as well!). Now I've come home from work as I can't speak - so annoying as I feel ok, but can't possibly teach/control/talk/explain to my classes which is a nightmare. But will be around tomorrow so am going to attempt to do some house stuff and possibly ebaying - although I have been searching and have NOTHING left to ebay. Oh dear. Trying to think up ways of money raising as have £300 to pay back to brother-in-law that I knew nothing about before - OH borrowed it on holiday and I just thought he had been good with his wage. Bah.
Things are ok here - me and OH are actually getting on well, especially since i went back full time but I am shattered a lot of the time. Ah well, I'm lucky as I get the wage which will make such a difference.
OH has done some more DIY and it's made a huge difference to how warm the house is (fixing on skirting boards etc). We got our gas and electric bills and they were only £100 for 3 months (yes, it was summer and we were away for over 2 weeks, but still!). So I don't feel so bad for the tumble drier now. Will be trying the suggestion I saw on Hypno's thread though to put a towel in with the drying to speed up the drying time.
Sophia came home with a certificate awarded for very careful letter formation today - bless
Anyhoo, best be off now.
Hope all are well.

Hi Sea
Well done on the debt reduction. Maybe it doesn't feel as great, because when you are doing a DMP, it feels like someone else is paying it off, and not you?
hope you are feeling better now
