Hi all
Wow! Having a hard time adjusting to full time work and Soph in school - William has a chest infection and is now on asthma meds and antibiotics, Sophia has been off school today due to bad cold and croupy cough. OH was off with them but I came backa t lunch as I had a free this afternoon. Been tidying, washing, cooking etc since I got back - apart from a little lie down that ended up being an hour and a half
Money is all over the place - I have no idea what's what so this weekend I'll get my head round it again. I'm going to be using my first pay packet to replace some of the savings I've raided due to lack of planning. Food is running low so will have to address that asap!
Anyway, better go sort the washing, oh such an exciting life lol!

Well we had a nice time in Blackpool even if we managed to miss everyone

Having a little drink now which has helped to lift my rather melancholy mood today. Feeling a little overwhelmed - not got much left for the rest of the month - should be ok, but spent £20 I really shouldn't have today
Need to get back on the DFW wagon as otherwise a lot of my hard work will be undone. I will get my full time wage at the end of the month, but that money is earmarked pretty much to replace the savings. I am trying to get into ebay again, but I just feel like I've no time for anything at the mo - haven't even been on here much!
Anyway, I'm back - and will try to catch up and post on more threads:)

Thanks hon
When I took the train I was thinking - oh no, what will Blackpool be like at this time of the year? As there were 4 families with parents who had the obligatory 17 cans of strong bow on the train. I wasn't feeling too good when I stepped into Blackpool! But of course, then the gorgeous beach and amenities came int focus and I felt all ok again!
Sophia had a wonderful time - it was a proper treat as we don't often do it due to the fact I can't control myself with spoiling her on the seafront. I've decided to save up tesco points to take her to the pleasure beach - there is a lovely kiddies bit which is £11 something but obviousl less wiht tesco vouchers. Do you fancy doing it with JJ? We could go together - make a day of it - would make it nicer for us lol

Glad that you had a nice day, anyway, and were able to treat the kids. Good idea to save the tesco vouchers towards a day out - it really does work out cheaply then!
Anyway, at least you ARE back on the DFW wagon now. You will soon get back into the swing of things, and although this month's wages is replacing the savings, at least you will be able to do that, and you wouldn't have been able to before! So all positive stuff :cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
