    Hi Sea

Just caught up on your diary - hope you're more sorted about where the money's gone, and feeling okay about yourself again. I've had much the same sort of morning, starting that process - about my dr*tted French apartment, haven't kept in touch with the finances at all, either what was coming in or what was going out, I've been absolute rubbish, like a newbie on here in complete, total denial about what they've been doing and shocked into action by something from outside - in my case, my 2nd year's French accounts. How I got by last year I don't know. But never again, this time I have a filing system that I *think* will work. Blind spots, hey - we'd be debt free without them. Trying to think of a positive here... okay.... personal growth! Thats about the only one........... hope you're having a good day today - water, NSD, a spot-less Sophia. Take care.

    Hi all

    Thanks for the posts :)

    I have had a NSD again!!! :D

I also got a free lunch at the ASDAN training I went on which was not (not very good diet wise but i think I've made up for it - had a yummy but low fat tea). Karmacat - I completely relate to the whole denial/newbie feeling! :) Have you sorted it all out now?

I've been out at parents evening tonight - went well:)

Sophia is much better - just waiting now for all the spots to crust over - she should be back at school by Monday. She's been a little naughty and cheeky today so needs to be out and about now! She's going to OH's mums for hte next 2 days so will have a nice time. My mum had a great time with her today :)

Not much else to report - very excited (and shed a little tear at the traumatic entry to the world) about Chocaholic's new addition, baby Tom.

Glad Sophia is feeling better - must make things easier for you too?

Choco really was lucky wasn't she - that appointment being brought forward an hour could have been a lifesaver, literally. Things like that make you realise just how lucky we are in life really. Just glad she is ok.

    Hi there Sea

Have spent 8hrs reading your diary from start to finish. You are one strong woman, I found myself laughing, smiling, crying and shouting (mainly at the OH). All I have to say on that matter is "Does he deserve you", this was said by a 17yr old to me when my r/ship was going down the pan, I realised he did not deserve me, so he was gone and I have never looked back.

My main objective is to save £15k this year to buy myself a narrowboat to live aboard full time to stop me wasting money renting, my 7yr aim is to work part time by the time I am 55.

    Brightest Blessings

Thank you for the lovely message - good luck with the savings!

    Hi all :)

Another good day here - William actually stayed in his bed ALL NIGHT!!! :D Mind you, I was in with Sophia so wasn't aware of this lol! She's been a little disturbed during the night due to the pox.

Not having a NSD here - but £1.30 on lunch only and am off to the supermarket, but will keep it as low as I can! ;)

    Hope all are well

HI all - another NSD here - and I have received a refund from RC - no communication about it, just a random £15.01 refund (hardly a lot considering I've been using it for 16 days, got a couple of plastic pots and paid £49.99 for 3 months, but my own fault considering i bought without really thinking about it). So better than nothing.

Also got some luncheon vouchers through - another £4 worth - although not sure how I can use them.

My friend had her baby today - a little girl called Olivia Joy (8lbs3oz bless!!) so i'd like to send a present and stuff, but will attempt to buy it all only using vouchers as have gone a bit over board with presents, and general spending. I already have a card so want the only actual real 'cost' to be the postage. We'll see how I get on this weekend, I think I have some Boots vouchers somewhere.

    Hope all are well
