Right - am a little calmer now - had a slight freak out I think!

NO school tomorrow!! Yippee!! Because there is no water it's been decided not to open school - I'm doing a little jig as I type. Works out perfectly for me as it means OH doesn't loose any time off work and also it doesn't count then as a day off for me (although I woul dhave been going in anyway but you see my point).

I've contacted RC about cancelling, a very strongly worded email! :)

I think that this DFW journey is just a series of LBMs!! I know now that I just am not good - I think I have spent the money of lots of little bits. My mobile bill being so high didn't help and I think a little money hasn't transferred across, but mainly silly spending on presents for the kids, sales 'bargains', magazines, going on weekends we can't afford!!!! :)

I will learn from it, and like you say Seaxwyn - it's annoying but not the end of the world!!

Just found out my friend is pg, which is lovely. I look forward to doing another nappy cake for her when the time comes :D

Nope. And the more you learn from it, the quicker you'll stop it the next time.

Here's a little pic of my spotty monkey - she's got more though! That was taken this morning and she doesn't look *that* bad!

The other 2 are of the nappy cake. Basically rolled up nappies with presents up the middle and attached around. The smaller one I did the other day for work worked a little better as it was done around a bottle of wine :) but I forgot to take photo!

    Oh arghhhhhhhh

Still no water - OH got up and had a shower so I was thinking yippee!! But then when I went for mine a little later, nothing. All the websites saying water back on etc but NO.

I want to continue tidying today and sorting out stuff - hopefully will find out what some of my money has been spent on!! :)

I must get onto those Bingo sites as well - not with my money of course :) Any little extra I'm going to transfer and then withdraw and put in the terramundi towards barclaycard savings - I have realised I can't have online savings as I just transfer the money and spend it. If I put it in the terramundi then I will not be able to spend it and it will just grow nicely.

oooh - just been rung by OH and apparently we get a £50 refund from the water board because of the problems -I doubt this very much, but will go investigate.

Not heard from RC yet, but all the bumpf arrived this morning (finally!), but I'm going to push for a part refund anyway as the website is so rubbish!

Feeling more positive today - thanks for all the kick up the bums yesterday - has helped me put things into perspective!

Hi Sea, glad ur feeling a bit more positive today.....
Re the water refund, I know our Water companies round here give refund if ur water has been out for a certain amount of time - might be worth checking their website, or stick a quick post on the Utilities thread
