PS the water going off is due to a valve failing at the water tower but they are working on it

Thanks - the water briefly returned to normal, but it's gone funny again.

    ah well.

I've completed the kitchen now - at least that's one room. Will tackle dining room next - William's just been dropped off as OH is working late tonight. Can't see anything on him yet...

The dr did ring, but we just have to wait and see - the creams and med I have now seem to be doing the trick quite nicely.

I know - the water thing is strange as it shouldn't have reached here at all...

mind you had the same problem a few weeks ago so maybe it's not related to the valve and instead is the recurring problem in this area.

Hi Sea. Hope Sophia is OK and not too distressed by the chickenpox. When my DD3 had it she insisted on having the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds played to her - strange choice for a five-year-old! You can only do so much with creams etc, but time is the great healer and she will be right as rain in a few days. Hope you're not exhausted yourself. Don't feel bad about not blitzing every room!

Thanks - I 've done the dining room floor at least and most of the living room Now just need to do upstairs (all of it as it is minging) and then I'm done. Oh, and put away all the clothes spread around. Im sure if I can jsut the house sorted then hopefully I'll be able to get on top of my finances...

big confession time...I've spent a fortune this month already. i have no idea what on. little bits and pieces generally. I'm obviously no further in debt, but have wasted a shed load of money. I even transferred the gas and electric money over but spent it.

I feel quite sick about it really. It's almost like back when i was debting big time - money going out, no idea where.

Guess a spending diary is needed. Thing is, I've now spent it so have nothing left!!!

    !!!!!!.

Go back through all the receipts you have, and see where you've been spending it. Some things can be taken back, other things (like food) can be used to defer further shopping.

Still a good thing to do anyway for the future. It tends to stop the little blow-outs.

    hmmm..

I would do, but I've thrown them all.

However, I will go through the statements online later when kids in bed and work out where it's all gone, it's just ridiculous.

I think I'll have to now - especially now OH has decided to use some of his money to pay off a CC he's run up. Grr.

Oh and we have NO water at all now. So no baths for the kids. Ah well. I just hope it's back on for the morning so I can have a shower before work!!

Well, both kids in bed now. Hmm. Think that means I'm going to have to look at finances. Eek.

Why have I been so stupid? I have no idea where it's gone....

    Will go investigate.
