Hi taxi - she's got all skinny (well in comparison!!) as well due to the not eating as it hurts - I warn you -i'll end up posting lots of pics in a full sophia fest!! :)

Been busy today - still no water - the helpline says some may still be experiencing problems grrr. But changed our bed, Sophia's bed, tidied our room and hers, the bathroom and loo, pottered a bit in Will's and put away all the washing i've been able to do, but obviously the washing pile is now huge with the dirty sheets etc! I need to hoover and wipe down surfaces (need water for that). So I'll pop off again in a bit and hoover the house & stairs.

Had good success with surveys today - made £4 :) Will also investigate the bingo sites too - when I get a chance!

  • Think of it perhaps like being on a diet. If you have a day where you scoff chips and the kids' leftovers, it doesn't mean you are doomed to be X stone forever. It just means an off-day, and tomorrow is not pre-destined to be the same!

How on earth are you managing with no water? Did you get a chance to fill some buckets?

oooh - just tried the tap - there is water - HURRAH!!!! :D

I wasn't managing very well Seaxwyn! I only had a few bottles filled as I thought it wouldn't affect us as it was in Blackpool. However, have just done the washing up and making tea now so that's good - I just hope the water lasts!

Done all he hoovering except the stairs - given up now. Might sweep them instead.

Seems I might have missed out on the bingo thing - lotsof sites now not letting peeps get free money, so not really sure what to do!

    Right

Still heard nothing from RC - did weigh myself tonight and lost another 2lbs so that 8.5lbs altogether now. I complained (again) about the fact that I couldn't enter plain pasta into the food diary despite using the pots and can not be bothered entering nutritional data every time my food isn't in the database!!

I've had a NSD today and am going to really monitor all that I spend. Going to ask OH if he will do the same to see what we can save up towards the barclaycard savings :) I think we both need a target - otherwise it's a bit difficult getting the motivation! He is also aiming for his CC to be paid too, but that's his business - it's mainly beer and excess spending on his part - which he said himself.

  • Hi there Sea

Have spent 8hrs reading your diary from start to finish. You are one strong woman, I found myself laughing, smiling, crying and shouting (mainly at the OH). All I have to say on that matter is "Does he deserve you", this was said by a 17yr old to me when my r/ship was going down the pan, I realised he did not deserve me, so he was gone and I have never looked back.

My main objective is to save £15k this year to buy myself a narrowboat to live aboard full time to stop me wasting money renting, my 7yr aim is to work part time by the time I am 55.

    Brightest Blessings

    Dave
