I have more chance keep going at jobs that require computer work as I can do that for sure.

You haven't the required computer qualifications to work in an office! You can't type (your words not mine) others will have RSA certificates in word processing and typing to the highest standard. Other office skills will be required so you will have to learn and in my experience, in a busy office those skills you have to acquire before you get a job they have no time to teach someone on the job in those skills. If I remember correctly the only computer qualification you have is a GCSE in IT which will not be sufficient.

Phil, my 16 year old brother has a job in a clothes shop. He's still at school. He has no real experience. They are till training him atm. So it can be done.

Finally getting the hint then, troll boy.

I might as well with the confidence you lot put in me. I won't get the most basic office job because a school leaver will be more experienced. There seems no hope of me ever having a job.

I know my parents are right that I have wasted my time and the last 16 years of schooling as I am completely unemployable and all my life is wasted.

You just need to get the training/qualifications. Why don't you get a job somewhere to get experience and also go to night college to get computer training.

Phil, supermarkets do not necessarily require you to have 'till' experience. One of my first Saturday jobs was in a supermarket and I had never used a till before. It didn't matter because they provided training, as they do with every new recruit. I may have 'just worked in a supermarket', but I learnt a lot of transferable skills that I still use to this very day.

It is possible for other people everrything always is but not for me as I am useless you tell me, my parents tell me, employers tell me.

I do not know of any office assistant job that only deals with mail, photocopying and taking money to the bank!

The office assistant in my office would be highly offended if Phil said that to her - she basically runs the show in our office! She has a completely different set of skills to me, and is very good.

Like I said, you need to write a list, Phil, of all the things you are good at and the skills you possess. Can you do that and post it on here, and perhaps we can help you?

It makes no difference if I get my NI paid or not as i have never paid any anyway.

Erm, I think you'll find it does.

If you don't have any NI paid, you won't have a state pension when you are older - you will have to rely on a private one.
