You may not have the skills - many will be trying who will have RSA certificates in typing and word processing and have done an admin course. You previously said that you had none of these skills, you said you could not type either.
A job that involves mail and supplies is nowt to do with if you can type.:beer:0 -

But if others have those skills too it will be in their favour as they would be able to carry out other jobs. You say you need office work to be able to get a job at university - that job will also I presume need some of office skills other than taking money to the bank!0

I am not being choosy but a shop job is not going to get me the office experience I need to work at a university is it?:beer:0 -
I do not know of any office assistant job that only deals with mail, photocopying and taking money to the bank!0
