Yes, a job that builds some skills for me to get a decent career.

Those jobs I suggested would teach you very valuable skills. You can't really afford to be choosy when it comes to getting a job as you have virtually no skills or experience at present. You're basically relying on your qualifications to get you a job but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

Do what the rest of us do, start at the bottom and work your way up.

You may not have the skills - many will be trying who will have RSA certificates in typing and word processing and have done an admin course. You previously said that you had none of these skills, you said you could not type either.

A job that involves mail and supplies is nowt to do with if you can type.

Working in a shop is not going to get me a job at a university. I need office work and not shop work to get me into getting a job at a university.

    !!!!!!!

Did you know that when Sainsburys take on management trainees they look for graduates, no specific degrees, just graduates.

    You NEED a job!

...and I am experienced in taking cash to the bank as I count my pennies into bags of £1.

:rotfl: OMG, please tell me you did NOT write that on the application form.

But if others have those skills too it will be in their favour as they would be able to carry out other jobs. You say you need office work to be able to get a job at university - that job will also I presume need some of office skills other than taking money to the bank!

I have skills lots of skills and a variety of unpaid experience.
I am not being choosy but a shop job is not going to get me the office experience I need to work at a university is it?

I do not know of any office assistant job that only deals with mail, photocopying and taking money to the bank!

No, the only thing to do with personal money is about using excel to keep records, which is a valid skill to show.

I have found another job which involves taking money to the bank and post boy and I am experienced in taking cash to the bank as I count my pennies into bags of £1. So I might have more luckk with this one.
