Yes, a job that builds some skills for me to get a decent career.:beer:0 -
I totally agree with the above poster. I think your downfall Phil is that you never worked while you were at school/uni.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
You don't need to tick all the boxes. You just need to tick more boxes than the next bloke.
I got my first job when I was still at school and my employer expected to train me from scratch because of my age. By the time I was your age I had 3-4 years of work experience. Any employer who takes on someone aged 21 or more will quite reasonably expect them to have a few years of work experience, even if it's just studenty holiday jobs. You are competing against people who have more work experience than you do, and it's up to you to figure out whose fault it is that you can't compete with your peers.
You need to set your sights a lot lower and take any job you can get and acquire job skills, but I'm the millionth person to say so and it hasn't sunk in yet!
There are no lower jobs than office assistant.:beer:0 -

I'm not sure that's really the sort of experience with cash handling they'll be looking for.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

Only one that mum and dad approve of! A shop would never do as they would probably think it below him as he has a degree:D0 -

You may not have the skills - many will be trying who will have RSA certificates in typing and word processing and have done an admin course. You previously said that you had none of these skills, you said you could not type either.0
