How did you get a wonderful career then? I am sure it was not through being rude and down right awful.

As to why you can not pick library work up on the job I don't know. I did it before with only 1/2 days worth of training and I picked it up fine.

Well, if you were that fantastic it shouldn't be hard to persuade your previous employers to take you back when they have a vacancy. I think you should mention at interview that the job is so easy you don't need training, I'm sure the panel will be impressed by your tact and interpersonal skills.
Two things that interest me are:

    1 working at a library
    2 working at a university.

Both need PG quals to get anywhere.

FYI I work in a university library and I don't have a degree of any description. I might not have a career, but then neither have you. At least I can get a job! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was about to say: why do you need a degree to work at a library (even a uni library?)

I googled "jobs + library", and there are plenty of decent ones (ie 25+ plus) here which don't require a degree.

I never said it was easy or I was wonderful, I said you can pick a lot of it up by doing the job. It is great that you have a job.

Have you tried doing some temping work whilst you wait for your ideal job?
