Thank you for the welcome Kittie, that's very kind of you. I suppose I'm just "passing through" and hoped I could save someone's foil with my suggestion!

I've been making my own office lunch for as long as I can remember now and it really does save you a fortune. It's great to see so many posters determined to address this drain on their finances. I've even stopped taking cash to work as it was so easy to spend it on junk food and rubbish.

    Hi Kittie,
didn't fish and chips used to be sold in old newspaper or is that just an urban legend?!

    Kittie

I have responded to Sas on the March thread but don't know how to link it here.

Can you please explain how I do that or alternatively, can you please do the honours?

    Thank you. :D

Here's one I take to work - quite filling and 180 Cals a tin

Tesco Light Choices Lentil And Vegetable Soup 400G @ 59p

Bit high on salt but worth a try.

17 lunches at work for me.
I almost always take lunch to work - but this challenge will stop me raiding the chocolate machine! I go through phases where I can't resist it. I need to take snacks to work with me as well as lunches.

Thanks for the ideas, Shortie! :)
