    Hi all,

    Productive day thus far:
Been to Dunelm Mill, decluttered £s and adopted new scatter cushions for sofas, new towels, light pull and soap dispenser for mini bathroom makeover, gone for bright purples: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/hampton-collection-towel-201524
Fed kiddies, stripped and remade their beds.
Ran new towels through a rinse wash to de-bit (otherwise ill have purple stuff sticking to me :D)
Built a train track with DS
Played "bash the chocolate" to condense the Easter goodies into one tub each rather than half the fridge, also means they won't expect to eat a whole egg at a time...

DS had a little book sort, and found two that were for babies, so will take those to nursery tomorrow.

Need to put bins out, do another wash, wipe up DR table with its aftermath of chocolate beating evidence, get in playroom with a box and FLING

Bonnie - my family tree on ancestry is getting unmanageable. I have all sides together. Is there a way to split this - is it worth doing?

ETA just found my Mum's Mum on the 1911 census, appears she had an older sibling who had died before she was born. Always sad to find out such things. I can see an entire afternoon disappearing.

Do you perhaps have a local university library that could make good use of them? We also have an excellent Oxfam bookshop locally, which stocks specialist books. Or you could arrange courier delivery eg Nightfreight for selling on ebay. They're often much cheaper for heavy books than posting.

Thanks for the list Natty. I just popped on to see what I should be up to today. I am ignoring the children's lists as teenage DS is welded to his xbox and I can do with out the sulking if I ask for help:rotfl:

Stripped our bed this morning and so far Wm x3, and Tdx2. I am going to empty the woodburner and re-set it as it is still freezing here. Much more economical than the central heating as we are burning our own logs and bits of the old shed! Cleaning it is a bit of a faff though and usually end up with sooty marks on my sleeves, so no doubt Wm will be back on later.

Hi to all my Flylady friends! Having a very lazy Easter weekend here, as did the usual teacher thing of falling ill on the first day of the holiday, and still feeling 'run over by a truck'!

I did the kitchen before being ill on Thursday, and am supervising some light decluttering from the sofa.

Ah Serena - have spent holiday after holiday recently, succumbing. I am STILL coughing like a 60-a-day smoker from the LAST influx but I will NOT be ill this holiday...

    Nice to 'see' you anyway!

Have made a 'help yourself' dinner - salad things in the crudites server, roast chicken and wraps.

Hello! I have a box of books and a bag of clothes to take to the charity shop tomorrow - decluttering has begun!!!
froddington thanks for organising the FlyMeet in London on Thursday which, like inoafan, I am very much looking forward to!!

You are both very welcome - I'm looking forward to it too!

serena - good to see you posting; can you join us on Thursday?
Oooh, lovely family history :heartsmil - if you take dusty's great advice and have any questions/queries do ask Auntie Bonnie :)

Ah, you may regret posting this as I could probably bore you silly with stuff about my family when we meet up. Yesterday, I saw my great grandfather's medals for the first time as well as my grandfather's diary from 1920 when he was in the Merchant Navy, and several other documents. My Aunty had them all in boxes that hadn't seen the light of day for years and years (mum had never seen them!!) and my cousin found them whilst he was clearing the house. Who knows what else he amy find?!!!

I also have interesting stuff about my other grandfather's WW2 exploits, escapes, sinking, hiding out in Italy, etc. etc. And a problem finding my grandmother's death certificate ..........

    Bored yet?!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Anyway, anyone want to join me in a
    HHC 16:45 - 17:15?

I can then finish most of the kitchen list........

    serena get well soon

    Since my last post:

    Washed dishes
    Cleaned sink and drainer
Wiped hob, worksurfaces, and applicance and cupboard fronts
Emptied and reloaded WM x 2
    Sorted dry laundry
Went to town and decluttered lots of money on a swish new jacket :D

Going to make dinner soon and then my plan for the rest of the day:

    Sweep and mop kitchen
    Empty WM
    Quick tidy round downstairs rooms
    2 hours ironing
    Put clean sheets on bed
    Sort dry laundry

Back from my HHC - worksurfaces clear and wiped; microwave cleaned inside and out; toaster, kettle and canisters wiped; cupboard doors wiped; fridge freezer wiped; window cleaned and sill wiped :D

Vacuuming the floor will have to wait as I moved the washing from the front of the WM to find a wet carpet - seems WM has a leak somewhere  Will have to speak nicely to Daddy ......

    Killer Kitchen - Monday

    Level Two
