    46 £38,000 ish atm but if Mr Gove has his way it may well be a lot less soon......can I work less hours then please??

  • 24, earn £23.5k. Really enjoy my job, it's a 50 min drive there though which is fine but it means quite a lot goes on petrol!

    58 and £42,000. Plus receiving a pension of circa £5,000 from a company which paid out from age 50. Started paying into it when I was 16 and thought 50 was one foot in the grave!

    When I was 30 I earnt £20 per week as a dinner lady
