@ B_M – Thanks for your further feedback and comments.
Is that it?
Maybe get someone senior on here to address the issues?
Is John still active at TCB as he seems like the only one with customer care experience?
If not, I'll keep at it until TCB puts in place what they preach.

Hi I have an amount I'm awaiting for Marks & Spencer food to order. The 8 week deadline has passed and this shows as faster paying. The food has all be consumed so can you tell me what the hold up is.
Thanks0 -
Hi everyone,
@B_M - Looking into your account today I can see that your Endsleigh transaction is payable now and so I do hope you enjoy this cashback.
We always look to improve and I have passed over your comments about making the note standard note clear in regards to average payment speeds. This will be reviewed and should we believe we can make this clearer we will do this.
@washable - Over the festive period it can take a little longer than the standard estimated timeframe which is based on the average time frame. I can assure you we will get this to you as soon as we're paid it by the merchant for you.
Should this not progress within 4-6 weeks of the estimate please drop me a message to mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can take a closer look at it for you.
Best wishes,
Matt“Official Company Representative

I didn't want to mention Endsleigh on here yet, but as you have named it, yes that's the merchant.
This is and was a TCB issue and a one that needed a fight, despite the misleading promotional notes. No apology, but that sums up TCB now!
Review the info? Are you having a laugh?
Please re-read the TCB 'mission statement' and get your hierarchy to do the same. If that's no longer valid, or simply there to mislead, please remove it!Honesty & Integrity
As part of the Fair Play philosophy, we aim to be honest and act with integrity at all times.
At all times, yes that's what it states!
Anyway, this one is closed and Endsleigh have already made contact and I advised them to deal with TCB until the 15th January. Maybe they have had an influence?
Now then, I have another financial product purchase sitting at 'pending'. This also has no payment stats, but the pre-purchase notes mirror that of Endsleigh.Unless otherwise stated expect transactions for this retailer to appear within 24 hours. Transactions are usually confirmed within a month and should become payable within 30 - 60 days after the event date, unless otherwise indicated on the Avg Payment Speed Statistics.
Post-purchase info states 36 weeks!
See where I'm coming from?
Yes, no doubt I'll be back soon and pointing out the TCB 'mission statement', if that statement hasn't been scrapped.
It's in TCB's court, see if they can act with 'honesty and integrity'.
Or, are TCB out there to mislead and cheat members? Stronger words could be used, believe me.
A positive, TCB do normally approve their 'Highest Cashback Guarantee' and add the appropriate top-up, whether that's 1% or 5%. But, they do state they will beat any higher rate, not just match it!
With the 5% top-up being devalued now, that's important as at this present time. The best time to buy from TCB, especially as a 'Plus' member, is when TCB have the lower rate. As rates have dropped recently, this comes into play more often.
I'll never forget the guy who used to post on the old TCB forum.

@grumbler – Unless you what a physical love 2 shop voucher you will need to use the new Reward Wallet function to pay out your cashback.
It is true that once you may put via Reward Wallet you can pay out all your cashback through any of the vouchers included within it. One of the advantages of reward wallet is you can pay out your cashback into whole numbers so if you had £10.50 and you only wanted a voucher for £10 while leaving the 50p in reward wallet for a different voucher, you can do that.
Once you have transferred your money into Reward Wallet it is locked there and can not be returned to your account.- I have ~20 amounts in my 'Part payout' list - and I have to check each one individually whether it's eligible for transferring to the wallet and to write this down on a piece of paper(!).
- And before starting checking I have to un-tick each amount in the list as there is no option for selecting/deselecting them all in one go - as it has to be for any long list with check boxes.
- And every time after I check some amount for eligibility the 'Part payout' list collapses and I have to open it again. Was it too hard for each amount in the list to show whether it's eligible or not - as it used to be before your 'improvement'?

TCB rep can you confirm that the above statement from B_M is correct and that you do BEAT and not just match any higher rate with your Highest Cashback Guarantee.

Hi Everyone,
@B_M – Other members of the team are aware of your views and as I mentioned we will take them onboard.
We have reviewed your account personally and have decided that we do need to make some changes to our communication with you.
As you are aware, you have earned many thousands of pounds through using our service, It is, therefore, unfortunate that you do not believe the service we provide through this forum lives up to your expectations. Albeit, you continue to use us on a frequent basis.
Going forward we will not be responding to your comments made on this forum. It is taking up a lot of time to explain the same things which is preventing our ability to assist our other members. Therefore, please can we request that you keep your queries through the official process of support ticket.
@grumbler – It’s is disappointing to hear you don’t like our new reward wallet scheme. We have had a huge amount of positive reaction to this. It was created in order to lift barriers from members not being able to split up their cashback and to pay out exactly how much they wanted.
However, we also understand with such a big change we might be able to further improve it to make it better and clearer and so we are always listening to see how members find using it and whether we can improve it.
When using part payout it should tell you within the action part payout check list which ones can’t be paid out through reward wallet. I am going to raise with our team immediately that it is not to try and get this sorted for you.
In the meantime, if you drop me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk I will happily break your transactions down into what can and cannot go into reward wallet so you don’t have to create your own list.
In addition, you can untick/tick as much as you like and then click on recalculate at the bottom. You do not have to do this after ticking or unticking one transaction.
@yellow44 – If we do not have an exclusive rate top up does typically apply and so we will indeed beat the rate through the highest cashback guarantee and you will then get any relevant top up on top.
In addition, I will get the team to check over that page to ensure if necessary, that it is updated as soon as possible.
Best wishes,

I've never really had an issue with the TCB 'Highest Cashback Guarantee'.
The 'guarantee' part is, they will 'beat' any higher cashback amount listed elsewhere, not 'match' it.
Basically, if a member is a 'basic member', they would achieve the matched rate and have a 1% top-up added - that's what 'beats' the other higher rate.
A 'Plus member' gets the higher rate matched and then a 5% top-up is added. Again, this 'beats' the rate.
I stated a few posts back that TCB are paying well below the 100% rates now on many merchants (in my opinion they are no longer a 100% cashback site), hence the importance of the HCG.
Aviva (home insurance) was my last claim.
As I stated, TCB only give £42 for 'Plus members' and even less at £40.40 for 'basic members'.
Quidco advertise a £50 flat rate and the 'Daddy' is Imutual at £61.20, this is what I got matched and beaten.
Basically, my Aviva is now showing at £64.26 (screenshot taken).
£61.20 + 5% (£3.06) = £64.26 - that is 100% correct and as expected and honoured.
Hope that helps. But yes, TCB do claim to 'beat' any higher rate, not 'match'.
Still poorer than Quidco, who double the difference on many rates, but not all.No payments from financial products from cash back sites? When TCB purchase MSE, they can decide who posts and what can be shown.
Until then, I'll help others to save money, expertly. That's what this site is about.
TCB did have control of their old forum and did censor many posts and members.
I advised TCB when they closed that forum that they would open up their issues to a wider audience, which they have.
If anything I post is wrong, then MSE wouldn't allow it and my posts would be removed. They haven't and that's because they are factually correct. If any are wrong, please advise me. Until then, readers of this thread can be sure, what I post is a fact and true (unlike some of the info on TCB's site).
Why do I post on here as often? Because I know of TCB's failings and how they treat members.
Get TCB in order and do as they promote and I wouldn't need to post - very simple.
I will post and no doubt very soon with another financial issue.
You don't have to respond, but I'll make others aware of how to get their cashback from misleading marketing.
EDIT: In fairness, I will try one last attempt with a support ticket if my financial purchase hasn't moved to payable within 60 days of the event (as per pre-purchase notes). Again, I will allow TCB a full 14 days to investigate and hopefully resolve.
But, if I get the same garbage as I've had from my Endsleigh ticket, I'll go straight away and direct to the merchant. And, I'll report back on here.
Let's see if there has been any improvement and if the 'mission statement' is finally taken seriously. No payments from financial products from cash back sites? When using part payout it should tell you within the action part payout check list which ones can’t be paid out through reward wallet.
If I select randomly several amounts in the "Part payout" list, then click "Recalculate", the only I can see is greyed Reward Wallet - and I don't get any indication what particular amounts are responsible for this (because they are ineligible for the Wallet). So the only way to find eligible amounts is checking them one by one or adding by one to the list containing already found eligible amounts. In addition, you can untick/tick as much as you like and then click on recalculate at the bottom. You do not have to do this after ticking or unticking one transaction.
So, without my paper list, the only way is to untick all of them one by one (PITA), then check individually.0
