Yorkshire Pud ( and others affected) - I hope yours goes payable soonest
Great news and sorry I missed your earlier posts. MIA for a while and catching up.
I had a similar experience with Hastings Direct a few years back. They initially stalled and gave me a deadlock letter. The FOS received my papers and like yourself, I was paid within days.
Sadly, that's the way to go!
I hope you are still pursuing your compensation claim.
I have several financial transactions in my TCB account and all sitting at 'pending' (tracked). I did have a British Gas transaction go to payable quickly though.
I'll still wait a full four months (from insurance start date - not purchase date) before chasing up direct with a complaint (if not paid).
I think MoreThan will be a definite, but they have until March.
My SEE saga went to payable recently and cashed out. I also received adequate compensation from SSE for the 'fiasco', so well worth complaining and complaining firmly (but politely). Worked out a decent amount in the end.
Best wishes. No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
I am having problems with love2shop gift cards
I ordered one before christmas With credit on it and it arrived with zero balance. My husband did the same, zero balance. It says on the account overview page "please activate your love2shop card and rerequest your payout. When i click on the red tab i get accounts payout page and the options of bacs, paypal etc and love2shop is greyed out.
What am i doing wrong.
Thanks0 -
Latest excuse for not paying, which is incorrect.
"25 Jan 2017 Hi there,
After looking into your claim further for you, I am sorry to tell you that your claim has been declined as the network has not identified ourselves as the last referral to the merchant’s site and this transaction.
As I am sure you can appreciate, if we have not been identified as the last referral, the merchant does not pay the cashback to ourselves so we are unable to pass this back onto you. Unfortunately, as this is the nature of cashback, we cannot guarantee that you will always be successful in retrieving your cashback, although we do strive to recover as many as the missing claims as we can.
Please be assured that we have tried our hardest to recover your expected cashback for this claim by exploring all channels with no success.
I am very sorry that we were unable to claim your expected cashback for you on this occasion and we are as disappointed as you on this decision.
I hope future transactions run smoothly for you in the future.
Best Wishes,
Sam"If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hi Everyone,
@ cm7 – Great to hear your cashback is payable. If the payment hasn’t reached you by Monday please drop me an email so I can investigate this.
@ paul2louise - Where the amount is greyed out there should be a little ‘i’ if you click on that it should provide the reason why you are unable to load funds to your card via that method. If this doesn’t help please do drop me an email at mse@topcashback.co.uk so I can take a look.
@ JPears – I am sorry you don’t feel this is correct. The network looks at the cookies attached to your purchase. Even if you clicked through from TopCashback and purchased, other cookies may be on your device which is why it’s important to clear these and also look into any other ways cookies may be added - for example, web browser add-ons. I understand it’s a frustrating declined reason and one we never like to give but the decision has been made we’re not eligible and so we do have to pass this on to the member.
Best wishes,

Check every day, write on here, send support tickets and missing cashback claims and nothing doing (or should I say doing nothing).
42 weeks now and still not Payable.
Do TopCashBack actually do ANYTHING meaningful to expedite late payments because this lamentable display proves they either have no clout or don't care.0 -

You can post on here `til the cows come home but the only way to get things moving is to refer to post # 3184.0 -

Sorry not sure if this is the right forum, but I can't see an obvious one for cashback sites/talks.
I want to use Topcashback to get cashback on my home contents insurance .. however, I realised the other day that TCB auto enrolled me at some stage as a Plus memeber. I never intentionally signed up for that, but looking at my account it shows for 2013-2017 that fees of £5 a year due but 'Not yet deducted' (probably because I have never earned any cashback with them) .. so question is, if I now earn say £20 cashback, will they deduced 4 years of 'owed' fees?0 -
Hey everyone,
@WLITC - Hey will, I do believe I have responded to your query on another social networking site today. However, I can assure you we won’t take the deduction unless you earned cashback for that year. For example, if you earned no cashback last Plus Membership year but £100 this year you will only have £5 deducted for the current year. If you do not feel Plus Membership is for you please do drop us a PM so I can look into this matter for you.
@Mamabuddah – I am sorry you are getting an error message when trying to lodge a claim. Could you clear cache and try this on another web browser for me to see if this works? We have not had any further reports of issues with lodging a claim and so hopefully this resolves your problem.
@ Yorkshire Pud – I am sorry this hasn’t progressed for you yet. I can confirm we had a team who were speaking with their cashback network in order to remedy the situation at hand and the outstanding cashback while also investigating how to speed up payments going forward. We do work to get things resolved but we are just one part of the commission earning system and we need to work to ensure all areas are looked into to get to the bottom of the slow progression of cashback. Sometimes there’s a wider situation that needs investigating and not necessarily as simple as getting the merchant to pay the funds.
@ JPears – There can be many reasons why a transaction wont track on any cashback site. I am sorry you feel such an occurrence is limited to us as I can assure you it’s not. The cashback site doesn’t track a purchase back to them. The merchant joins a cashback network and they track the commission back to the company it believes is eligible initially. Their network works with all the different cashback sites and commission sources and tracks the transaction and obtains the payment for that transaction. This is why cashback does and will continue to go untracked on other cashback sites.
I hope this helps everyone.
Best wishes,
