Hi Everyone,
It's Friday! I'm sure you don't all need reminding and I hope you are looking forward to the weekend.
@digital - A referral will progress to payable once your friend has earned £10 of eligible payable cashback. As soon as they have reached this amount your bonus will then progress.
@A.Penny.Saved - If we can no longer offer cashback for a merchant we do normally display a green banner at the top of the screen to inform you of this. Also we do change the 'get cashback' button to 'continue to merchant'. As the cashback process is administered by the cashback network it may take a day or two after the merchant has ended offering cashback for us to be told about this. When this happens the links are defunct and so do generally give you an error. However, if this happens we do ask you to get in touch as it may be that a merchant has stopped offering cashback or it may be a tech glitch that we need to investigate.
@Lynsey - I am delighted that a member of the team managed to help you with this. We do very much value our members and are always looking at ways to improve customer service. However, as I'm sure you can appreciate providing customer service is to us about helping members with issues, concerns, feedback and queries they have. We do very much value our Fair Play policy, but as explained within it 'this doesn't necessarily mean that we will always be able to resolve every problem and pay for every untracked sale'. If we did this we certainly wouldn't be able to operate as a company.
I do totally understand you have waited a long time for this transaction to progress and certainly longer than we would have hoped. However, this taking so long to resolve doesn't mean we have not tried our best to resolve it. As I'm sure you understand we are the recipients of the cashback. The cashback network are the people who invoice the merchant for the cashback - we can not physically do this.
What we can do for some transactions, is query the network to make sure they are investigating this and to find out how these investigations are progressing. If however, the merchant has physically not passed on the funds to the network, there is no money for the network to to pay our members.
I do hope this helps.
Best wishes,

My account shows their 'progress' as 100% and has done for some weeks. Hence my enquiry.digital0 -
Hi @digital,
I hope you had a great weekend. This progress bar unfortunately does not take into consideration eligible and non eligible cashback. This is why it may show 100% but on closer inspection it may be that your friend hasn't quite reached your threshold.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,

Hi Matt
Could you tell me when your cashback reminder tool will be available for the iPad please. I find it invaluable when shopping on my Macbook and would have missed cutback without it but by hubby only shops on the iPad and its not compatible yet?
Thanks

Which begs the question 'Why have a progress bar that shows 100% when it may not be 100%?'.digital0 -

Its probably because they have spent the required amount so its showing as 100% but if any cashback gets declined it will drop to lower than 100%.
So its only 100% once all of your friends cashback is confirmed.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. So perhaps it would be better to wait until it really is confirmed as 100% before reporting 100%?digital0 -

Some of your 'deals' really aren't competitive.
e.g cottages4you. 5% cashback, but 10% discount is regularly available via other links e.g http://www.chooseacottage.co.uk/MCO ; so you're raking in an extra 5% profit on this one. Bit greedy of you I must say !0 -
TCB, Homepage states "The Highest Paying Cashback Site"
For those who are both Quidco and TCB members and pay neither site an annual fee this is not the case
Experience has shown that a transaction done via Quidco with a Highest Cashback Guarantee claim lodged against a higher cashback on TCB, Quidco currently match TCB not logged in rate which is approx 4% higher than a TCB member who doesnt pay a 5.00 fee would get.
Of course TCB could remedy this by changing its not logged in rates to those which apply to non fee paying members or maybe TCB might decide its prudent to introduce a new initiative to counter this apparent competitor threat.
Just to sum up what I have tried to put across, someone who doesnt pay either site a 5.00 annual fee is currently approx 4% better off aka "higher cashback" if he/she does a transaction via Quidco and claim H.C.G against TCB not logged in Cashback rate than if he/she did the transaction via TCB.
Begs the question as to the merits/wisdom of some TCB members paying a 5.00 Annual fee when he/she can currently get 105% rate by doing transaction via Quidco and lodging a H.C.G claim against TCB publicly advertised 105% rate.0
