    Help with TCB site please. Ive used TCB successfully for years but just lately I click on a merchant but instead of transferring to the merchants site I get a blank page? I try again but I get the message on TCB that my visit has been recorded. How do I get through to the merchant to purchase items please

    That sounds like the redirect isn't completing properly, and is the sort of thing that can happen when you have anti-adware, anti-malware and/or script-blocking programs running (e.g. Adblock, Spywareblaster, NoScript) or have changed the settings on your anti-virus/security software, browser or firewall. You should also check that Javascript is properly enabled in your browser as some software/security settings elsewhere on your PC may have caused this to change. The exact way you check and change this will depend on your setup (browser, security suite).

    When you get the blank page, what is the domain address displayed in the browser address bar on that page/tab? Is it the website address of the merchant, TopCashback or some seemingly random domain like awin1.com, ad.doubleclick.net etc? If one of the latter, your browser is being blocked at the stage when it redirects from TopCashBack's site to the merchant's affiliate network.

    The TCB message that "Your visit has been recorded" doesn't really mean much other than that TCB has tracked a click redirect out of their domain, and doesn't mean that your cashback has/will track. For that to happen the intervening merchant network (Affiliate Window, Tradedoubler etc.) has to track your visit across their domain as well, and the merchant's servers also have to record your 'arrival' via that network. Adblock and others can and do interrupt that process somewhere in the chain and result in failures as one or other of the scipt-redirects or tracking cookies along the way is blocked.

    It would seem that Top Cashback have terminated my account due to fraudulent or abusive activity. I believe that one merchant has taken exception to a transaction and TCB have decided that it does not meet their 'fair play' policy.

    If the merchant in question did not have a poor product and poorer customer service, their product would never have been cancelled. It would seem that TCB support this level of service.

    If anybody is thinking of opening a cashback account I would strongly suggest that they use one of the many other sites available. TCB seem to have poor customer service and a fair play policy that only meets their needs.

    But have you been fraudulent or abusive? You didn't say whether you had or not so to be fair until you post the details its hard to have an opinion on your plight.

    In my opinion TCB have great customer service and a good fair play policy. I have been a member of quite a few cutback sites and TCB is far the better one.

    No cashback is guarenteed and if you play by the rules and go through them for each transaction, they have great payout rates.

    I thought it was clear that I dispute any fraudulent or abusive activity.

    I am glad that you enjoy TCB but my experience of Top Cashback was not good and I could not recommend that anybody takes the risk of using TCB with the number of alternative sites out there.

    Do you work for TCB?

    A few months ago, I may have agreed with you but now that I have had the chance to 'look under the bonnet', I can safely say it is the worst cashback site I have used. The claims handling rarely got results, 4 support tickets went unanswered and only after Samantha intervened was I even told that I was being accused of fraudulent or abusive activity (still not sure which). TCB did inform me that their decision was partly based on information from myself which was interesting, given that they never contacted me.

    My opinion of Top Cashback is based upon the poor experience that I have had, what is your opinion of the other cashback sites based on?
