Bought life insurance for me through TCB in Dec 13. Clicked through and bought in same transaction, policy still in force.
Chased in July 14 to be told it can take 6 - 8 months to get approved - fair enough. Now Sept 14 and have just been told LV have declined with no reason given!
£70 gone and what's even more unfair (IMO) is the terms state TCB pay the money, NOT LV, so does this mean that LV have told TCB the policy doesn't exist? Why did it take NINE months to say that? (Of course, I can easily prove it does exist).
Even more puzzling is the line in the reply from TCB customer care that said sorry for not being able to "collect" the money from LV!
I've not had a problem with TCB upto now and have claimed back over £500 over the past few years but this has left me very disappointed in them.0 -

I understand that any complaint cannot be escalated with topcashback because (they say) they are unregulated, thus don't have to have any complaints procedure, and appear happy to hide behind this.
So how can we escalate a complaint over a regulated company (eg financial) who sells (or actually miss sells) when the cashback is not forthcoming via topcashback?0 -
Hi, on my account, foxy bingo as now gone a different font for some reason.
I've done a few minutes delving into it and I see that top cashback no dealing with them.
I'm assuming my money I did expect eventually is now no more?
I spent 20 pound on this merchant too0 -

On Aug 30th, I bought a phone with TalkMobile contract from Mobiles.co.uk. The (classic member) promotion rate that week was £40.40. It has only tracked at around £28.
Your merchant notes say nothing about this. They do mention that 'TalkMobile pay monthly SIM Only sales will initially track at the standard pay monthly SIM Only rate, however this will be amended to the correct rate upon cashback approval.'
Though mine is NOT a sim-only deal, can I assume my figure will be corrected when cashback is approved? Or do I have to claim?0 -

Financials are pretty easy to resolve, especially the mis selling ones.
Tcb will be able to advise you how to achieve this.
Over to you tcb.No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -

This now brings my top cashback earnings to just over £300+ which is not bad at all, when you consider that I had no big single payouts and I only started in March/April time.
It is also not bad considering the amount of problems some people have, but I have no problems whatsoever. consider me a fan0 -

@sharon80, I am sorry to hear that this went on to be declined, please be assured that our Claims Team will do all they can to get this decision overturned for you. The claims process itself can take around 12 weeks to be resolved from the date that a claim is submitted, but I would be more than happy to take a look into this for you if you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk.
@camelot1971, I can confirm that the cashback is received from the merchant via their affiliate marketing network and we pass this onto our members, we do ask though that any cashback queries are put through our enquiries system. Have you had a claim in for this? I would be more than happy to see if there is anything that I can do to be of assistance if you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk.
@Quentin, I would be happy to look into the transaction that you wish to escalate for you, if you could email me at mse@topashback.co.uk with your transaction details. Has this not yet progressed to payable for you? We do have a complaints procedure for when a member feels that an enquiry has been mis-handled, but I can confirm that we do not escalate a complaint when the cashback has not come through within the estimate provided, we do however take these instances very seriously and these are always looked into by the merchants network. Our Customer Care Team are always more than happy to assist with any questions that you may have also.
@Everynamestaken, I can confirm that they are no longer active on site, but I can assure you that we will do all that we can to get any expected cashback to you soon. Your patience in the meantime is greatly appreciated.
@woodface7, this sounds like it may be incorrectly tracked and I would suggest lodging a claim for your transaction, so that we can look into getting this tracking on your account as expected.
