Hi Topcashback
I took out home insurance with Direct Line in October last year and submitted all required information for £30.30 cashback at the time. This transaction status is still pending and it will be a year next month since the policy began so something obviously has gone wrong with the process.
I also took out a car insurance policy with Direct Line and the transaction (£40.40) status reached confirmed 2 months ago but still isnt at payable stage yet. The policy was paid for in full in May and shouldn't be taking this long.
Could you please look into this?

Further to my Aug 30th purchase of a TalkMobile contract & phone from Mobiles.co.uk. The (classic member) promotion rate that week was £40.40. It tracked at £25.25.
When I try to lodge a 'Cashback Incorrectly Reported' claim, there is a field "I Spent £ , expecting £40.00 cashback"
Since the phone was included free with the contract, do I put zero? Or put the monthly tariff (which is irrelevant, since there were no tariff related conditions or scales of cashback). If so, would I deduct VAT?
I do wish you wouldn't include irrelevant purchase amount fields in claim forms, leaving us to guess. I had to claim on a missing First Utility dual fuel switch, where there was no guidance on whether this meant annual or monthly outlay (none of which has begun yet, obviously). And is meaningless, as your spend there has no effect on cashback rates. .

Hi there,
@joejoe90, has this not tracked or not progressed to payable yet? I would be more than happy to take a look into this for you if you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk.
@tight_arze, I can conform that we are aware of and looking into the pending transactions with this merchant from last year, hopefully we can get these progressing for our members soon! I would be more than happy to take a look into your second Direct Line transaction for you, could you email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk so that I can do this?
@woodface7, I do apologise for any confusion this has caused and thank you for your feedback, you will be able to put 0.00 in this box.
Best wishes,

Thanks, Samantha. I will now be able to make the claim.
However, can you ensure whoever processes it notices the mistake on the claim page. The old standard £25 'Talkmobile Pay Monthly' cashback rate has been left as an option on the same page as that weeks actual £40 'Talkmobile Pay Monthly' offer. That's doubtless how it came to track wrongly.
But I have the screenshot to prove that £40 was the only rate showing on August 30th. I love screenshots!0 -
Hi woodface7,
I am glad to hear that you have now been able to successfully lodge your claim, if you could email me a copy of the screenshot you have to mse@topcashback.co.uk, I would be happy to pass this on to the relevant department for you.
Have a great weekend!
Best wishes,

hi im very disapointed with topcashback. Yes they closed my account and kept my money. But the worst thing is communicating with them or Andrew Lees from topcashback to be specific. He was supposed to be helping me .He either ignores my emails or answers the wrong question. This has been going on for three months .
If they cant help is it worth going to the small claims court?0 -
Hi guys,
@MollieDollie; That's great-- I'm glad that this is now payable for you
@Katiedog; I'm sorry for any inconvenience here-- unfortunately, we cannot discuss the details of this issue on MSE but I have asked our Memberships team to get in touch with you again in order to clear things up for you. Are you able to allow about 24 hours for an email from them?
Best wishes,

Hi.
I was lured into purchasing snowboard items of £622.58 with a rate of 7.35%. I had searched the web prior for deals on my equipment and was excited when I saw the rate you offered and the actual website I had looked at prior, you had registered.
I immediatly purchased the items through your website begining of Sept. Heard nothing for weeks, nothing in my pending items. I have raised a lost claim ticket, however no reply and small print says it could take months?
So I have contacted the seller website direct who have confirmed that they have never heard of you, nor have they any agreement in place.
How can you entice people in to buy items through your website with false promises? I am no seriously considering lodging a complaint with trading standards and watchdog. Deeply dissapointed and feeling duped!

This Topcashback site really is hit or miss in my experience.
I've raised tickets and nudged them up where I have claims that are less than I should have got and also arent tracked at all (even when I get the Topcashback have noted your visit to this site type banner).
We're missing a claim where Copthorne hotels stated we cancelled the booking when we stayed there as promised.
I've a £10 referral sat at Pending for months. I mean why should that be pending when the trigger point has been received?
Really isnt a service I would recommend as being reliable or slick. With my multiple claims and support calls being outstanding for up to 6 months.
Very amateurish indeed and I never have any confidence that payment will be made.0
