Last night's burnt pan starting to look a little more salvagable. So far I have tried cola, Non bio and finally a dishwasher tablet left soaking in it all day. Not perfect but not the bin fodder I feared. To add to my misery yesterday I fell up the stairs, carrying my laptop and a pile of ironing. I managed not todrop them but banged my face and split my lip. Looks like I have been fighting lol.
I have only managed a bit from the list but every little helps.

DD2 came home tonight..went upstairs, opened her bdroom door and screamed... My work here is done lol

I gave her binbag number 1 to sort what she wants to keep what is dirty/clean/rubbish.. She made her bed and got in it I think.

    DW been on again
4 loads of laundry folded and mostly away

Tomorrow I have the plumber coming at 11ish... or he better do or there'll be hell to pay! I need to vacuum the middle room which OH and Squeak picked up all the toys and took away the plates etc So it won't kill me hopefully.

I need to ring the solicitor.. again. I have now found my cheque book but I need to see how much the plumber will be before committing to pay out £400 I can ill afford.

I need to trot to carpet shop and get the bathroom and back room measured for plastic flooring adn get tha ordered too.. I want it fitting too but it shouldn't be much more and anything that covers a naked concrete floor or stops water leaking through the kitchen seiling again has to be a bonus.

On my way I can collect DS3's prescription, get my boots reheeled so I can wear them again and take Dot for shoes.

DD1 is coming to watch the small pinks so we can crack on with the wallpapering too so that should be fun.

I foresee a couple of busy bee days!!!!!

There is a beautiful knitting pattern in the wool shop window I want too.. so I may splash out!

    Well done Kazw.

Does anyone remember weeks ago when I refused to wash my boys dirty laundry and insisted they went to the laundrette? It is still unwashed. I will not back down. DH brought it downstairs to the utility room and was swiftly informed if he valued his life he would put it back again. He's alive and the great unwashed pile is back upstairs.

My two youngest are feeling poorly. No temperatures so they have been dosed with parrots and sent to school.

Horse piddle appointment for DH to see a new consultant about his ongoing ear problems this afternoon.

I need to shower then tackle a couple of HHC's.

Today's mantra is 'I must not go up and down stairs without carrying something.' If I am to ensure that cleaning is just cleaning (and not tidying up first) I have to at least get everything in the right room in this house before I shake out a duster.

Plus which, the spring clean at the chalet will take place tomorrow as the beds are being collected and N will be back in my office for two nights next week, so it has to be cleared - yet again. I may yet develop a strategy for dealing with this constant dumping ground; even I can see I'm the one causing the problem.
    Better is good enough.
