Entire house hoovered and OH brushed the deep down dog hairs out of the stairs carpet because I have a sore shoulder and back - bless him.
Wm on again, heavy throw out on the line - doubt it will dry, but it's blowing a hooley out there, so hopefully it will spend less time in the TD later.
The lounge has had a thorough dust thanks to OH's underpants :rotfl:
Lunch decluttered. Popping into work to complete a task on the way to collect DD from school. DS just rang to say he's staying for after school footie and asked if I'd collect him at 5pm, so will pop into town and run a few errands there too to save time and petrol tomorrow.
Off to tackle the bathroom now - shoulder dependent - but really pleased with progress so far this week. Busy days ahead tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, so hope I can be ahead. Thanks for all the motivation ladies (do we have any gents with us? Not sure).
Anyone give me HH company starting now?

Also dropped off money for church Easter lilies on my way home.
Aside: bought far too much chocolate in L1dl's
Sun came out for all of 15 mins and temp reached dizzy heights of 2 degrees - so on balance decided not to hang washing outside but draped it round radiators on airer. Getting sick of seeing it there, seems to have been draped round the house since about November!!
Rumour has it ebay is free listing over the Easter weekend?Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Dog-type drama at the Honey Bear house. I was just getting something for her to eat for tea at 4.00pm, and I heard a very nasty 'falling down' type noise. I've got well trained ears, having looked after my terminally ill father several years ago and he used to topple over when he had to take Oromorph. Dog had managed to fall down a flight of eight carpeted (thank god) stairs and was sitting in a very shocked stack at the bottom. She is riddled with arthritis and at least one massive malignant lump on her back so it wasn't looking good. She even let out a bit of a cry, which she never, ever does. I wrapped her fleece around her, and waited about ten minutes before trying to feed her white chocolate - they say sugary tea for shock, right? About ten minutes after that, she levered herself up and walked away, so she's survived another day, but I don't know how many more falls like that her really bad hip can take.
In all the excitement I completely forgot OH is taking me out to Wevverspoons tonight for a steak prior to his trotting off to another pub to watch footie with a mate. I am now elbow deep in defrosting pastry (made with lodger's leftovers) and I've fried a kilo of onions for quiches. It's ALL Dusty's fault. I was actually defrosting the fridge at the time and meant to do a bit of meal planning with the leftovers in there. Why I decided that quiches made with the leftover egg yolks from the Pav last Saturday would be a good idea today is beyond me, other than dog worries. We're also out tomorrow night and then on Thursday we are cooking the lodger's fish that has been in the freezer for three weeks while I teach him how to make cheesecake. I'm going to have to stock take the freezer and make space by decanting boxes into bags so I can squash the quiches in. Tomorrow's soon enough.
Dog's scoffed a bowl of food so she isn't too bad, poor little thing. I'll give her a Tramadol before I go out, so she can snooze while I'm gone this evening and then walk her when I come back.Better is good enough.0 -

Poor thing, glad she seems ok. What a shock for both of you.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Aw poor pooch Honey Bear - a good idea to knock her out with medicine so she can rest awhile, I reckon she'll be stiff tomorrow. Healing vibes coming your way.
It's so nice to see clear, clean spaces here. Going to do very little tonight - check DD's hair (DS done last night), sew on Brownie badges, fix DS's trousers and read my book. Bliss.Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
