Evening everyone, I have just finished the paid stuff for ten days and only one project waiting for me when I get back although I'm sure that will change. Haven't had time to read back so hope everyone's ok and welcome newbies.

Just the dailies before the paid stuff today and SickDog went for a walk and met up with her doggy friends for first time in ages. She was soooo excited.

About to make tea and then relax, before starting on my long list of Easter holiday jobs from tomorrow.

    Have a great evening everyone.

    Hello,
All had a snuggle upstairs and DD has forty winks and is much happier for it. They have been fed and are both running round naked, well, she is wearing a crown :rotfl:

This evenings craft offering is for grannies who don't want easter chocs:

We've done them on A3 foam board so it's a bit more than a pic to stick on the fridge. The "leaves" are their handprints. I've dated it and put their names on the bottom. Might even attach some kind of fixing to the back so they can be hung on a small hook. :D

We did it by the kitchen sink with a bowlful of warm water before any handprints could escape ;)

DW wants emptying and my bed stripping. And there is a toy explosion upstairs...

I have rubbed and scrubbed and washed and been to the hairdressers and the doctors because I had a script waiting and it's HRT so you have to pay double so I thought I had better get it filled today as they go up 20p per item next week so thats 40p saved because I've been to the chemist and I have made home made chicken soup and bread and butter pudding with whoopsied hot cross buns and I haven't stopped all day...

    phew!

Oh my that sounds divine! What time shall I come over? ;)

    Serving now!

There was a recipe in a Morrison's magazine, I think...but I just sort of followed my Dairy Book recipe.

I make B&B pudding with any whoopsied fruit loaf I can find - you use a bit less fruit and sugar, otherwise it's just the same...made a pannetone one for my colleagues with the pannetone we were gifted;)

I'm shattered, and trying to muster the enthusiasm to dye my hair.

I'm now fully a redhead (again) - and showered too.

At the hairdressers there was only the hairdresser there; DS had 'found' me and hitched a ride; he decided to have his haircut so I washed him while she was still cutting her previous client!
He didn't half complain about water where it shouldn't be - but it was a backwash and I hadn't ever done one before!

Electrics to cooker are dodgy and both oven and hob lost all power. We have a British Gas Homecare agreement that covers electrics - 365 day a year cover...

But apparently they can't fit us in until Wednesday!

    I am SO not impressed!

Oooh I need to call them too... the clock thing on the boiler is brokkid.. it is losing about 2 hours a day.. we still have heating etc so not too awful.

They will probably only be doing emergencies now until Tuesday so that is probably why.

Bedroom all papered, bed built.. DD2 the little cowbag refusing to sleep in it!! I swear she has a death wish! Her remaining tat is being moved tomorrow so we shall see how much we can throw out.

Babies now have names.. my nephew is Alfie (lovely name for a baby but stupid at 30!!! Why do people not consider this??) My cousins boy is Philip.. nice and boring... typical of my family really... and mine shall be nameless if the last 2 are anything to go by.. Actually, I decided I shall name it the day it arrives and OH will have to lump it (Tallulah it will be!! :p He veto'd it for the other 2)

    Morning!

Still in bed just now. Few things to do before we head out for the day:
    Shower, dress etc.
    Feed little ones.
Get thermals on and layered up.
Pack a snack / drink for littlies.
Put littlies shoes in bag, they will go in wellies.
    Put a wash on.
Glue ribbon to back of tree prints.

Managed to strip and remake my bed last night and kiddies did tidying of toys (under threat of no Easter bunny, since they don't like to visit messy homes ;))

Now, what's for breakfast??? Should be hot cross buns, but not sure my waistline (what waistline?) can take any more...

Thursday - bedrooms concentrate on one or give them all a quick go
    Level One
    [STRIKE]HH tidying/putting away[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Hoover the floors
Change the beds [/STRIKE]and hoover the matress (turn if there is somebody to help
[STRIKE]Declutter the bedside table and give it a wipe[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
    Sort through one drawer
    [STRIKE]Wipe the window ledges
Clean the bedstead and see what has got lost behind it[/STRIKE]
    Extras
Do something off your own lists - a 5 minute job plus the one you have been putting off for the longest - you'll feel better once it's done

Good Friday - a day of choices and hot cross buns
Being a Bank Holiday you can choose from the following:
    Option One
Have a day off, dailies only
    Option Two
Complete anything on the lists which you haven't managed so far this week
    Option Three
Do at least HH but as much as you like in your Room of Doom
