    Morning everyone.

Don't think I've even posted this week yet. At work Monday and Tuesday then we had a training day yesterday. In the middle of all that was at A&E with DD who has an abrasion on her eye. Shopping done yesterday after training.

Dailies and a few small jobs done. Catch up day today.

    Cuddles for poorly dogs.
    Pigpen Congratulations.

Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed
  • Oh I have company - morning Boddy

Been up for about 2 hours trying not to make a noise - kitchen now tidier, recycling ready to go out and cleaner squirted all over the hob. Probably won't feel like finishing the job in a couple of hours time, but at least it will have to be tackled before we can eat tonight.

PenPen - happy shopping for wool, hats and dress

I've borrowed a hat, and wool shopping postponed until Saturday :j Total fail with a new dress, so I'll be reprieving the long black and white velvet number which I bought about 2 years ago from the totally brilliant Scope shop in York :D:D I did buy a short 100% wool coat for £5 :j:j:j:j It's from Littlewoods, so I'm trying to work out a vintage - possibly 1980s. I need to remove the shoulder pads  and would like to replace the boring buttons with something more snazzy - but what a bargain ;)

DH is coming home early as our taxi to his work's do comes around 6:00, and he needs to get into his suit and I need to tie his bowtie :) I'm going to whizz round with jobs, cook bolognaise, and then have some time with my book and my crochet :j

I have been having 11+ week cycles anyway.. and I wouldn't degrade myself by exploiting my family in such a manner I think those families are totally repugnant. They have no idea what misery it causes the children, the ridicule and bullying they get at school because their parents choose to show them up as freaks on tv..

:) I so agree! My daughter loves all that stuff - car crash TV. I keep telling her that we need to sort out what she is doing next year, as she is NOT staying home all day watching that rubbish!! (she would if she could )

Miss T has turned up. She is wearing jeans (an improvement on the usual leggings) and a long sleeve T shirt & thin sweat top. She has a tweed-type coat. Am I mean when I say to her 'Do you want to go out in the cold for 2 hours, or do you want to go to toddler group?' Guess what she chose! Maybe I could have worded it a bit less biased :p It is an easter egg hunt, but she can't eat chocolate anyway! The sun is shining, so I feel really mean :(

LR looks tidy (it won't last, but won't take long to tidy later :)), washing up needs to be done (I must phone someone about getting the DW fixed. I also need to phone the PDSA when they open & cancel the appointment for the cat. It was the earliest appointment I could get last week, and she is better now!

While soaking in the bath on Tuesday I was visualising how I would spend/distribute my huge lottery winnings (positive attitude/cosmic ordering attempt :p) I won £10 last night :rotfl:I need to work on my visualisation techniques!!

I have fallen off the wagon and achieved nothing for the last two days. Absolutely shattered but DH has just informed me he has invited BIL &SIL over for Sunday dinner so panic stations to get house looking presentable :o.
Off work this morning as I am going to a funeral. A manic flying hour first to make a start and then hopefully not so much to tackle later.

    Good Morning!!

Managed to do HH tidying yesterday and aim to do the same today as well as personal daily list before work tonight.

I m really hoping that this board will help me organise my time better, and enable me to develop a bit of a system to get on top of things.

My problem in the past has been that I have this ridiculous attitude in that if I cant blitz the whole house in one go and have the whole place gleaming and smelling lovely , theres no point starting, which of course is not a good plan - my house is testament to that......... :o
