Living Room all tidy and clean and mogs all have clean beds, although Queen Victoria much prefers to sit next to me at my desk.

Time for a cuppa, list update and then to think about dinner.

  • Congratulations Pigpen - great news :j

Been at the paid stuff today, home by 2, changed, walked pooch, collected DD, collected firewood and coal, fire lit. Sat down. Nothing else.

Trying to assemble a meal plan in my head with the things we have got in, but it keeps coming around to the same old, same old. Think I'll spend a bit of time on recipe sites tonight and see if I can make something different out of the usual suspects in the FF.

Almost time to collect DS from after school footie in town. By the time we get back home, there's a small HH window to rustle up a quick carbonara, declutter it and then head back out to take DD to Brownies at 6. I hate having to hang around in town for an hour and a quarter, but the distance from home is just too much to travel all the way back here and then go out again at 7. Might take my book and find a quiet pub - see, there are silver linings in everything!

Hope all the pooches are bright eyed and bushy tailed today.

Fingers crossed for successful job news for goodintentions' DH and also to Mr and Mrs Ionafan for a smooth house sale.

Have I missed anyone? Apologies if so .......

Just looked out of the window and it's snowing here again. DS will be frozen to the core playing football in this - there's not an ounce of fat on him. Will put a fleece blanket in the car to wrap him up in.
