I've had a great day :-)
Had church this morning which went really well. Didn't hear the message though as I was helping with junior church today I don't think it was recorded. I shall have to find out.
After church it was the church lunch. This is held every 2nd Sunday of the month. Always a great time. Also gives a chance to chat to people you might otherwise not have time to do so. Today I sat with a couple of old gentleman, they are so sweet :-) bless them.
A young man from the church came home with us because he wanted to borrow some Don Moen videos from us, he ended up spending the afternoon with us which was nice. We had a lovely chat together, and really enjoyed it.
Church again tonight, again very good. The youngsters have stayed back with some other youngsters to have a DVD night :-)
So that's been my day today.0 -
Good evening. I haven't posted much as I have been a bit busy lately. Decorating always takes me longer than I intend and the house is in total chaos.
MATH, you must live near me. I haven't been down to the village yet, I've only seen the pictures in the Mercury.
I should really go and have a bath but I'm too tired so I'll have to shower in the morning. Peaceful night everyoneDoing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -
Didn't get any baking or cooking done after all as there was a bit of a crisis to sort out. I'll do it all tomorrow instead. I'm now settled in front of Dalziel & Pascoe, but I have a review to finish writing when it's finished.
The rain came, and now it's forgotten to stop. It's been banging down for hours. We do need it, though.
Saying g'night now as the site will be down in just over 10 minutes.
