I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
Thanks Zippy and everyone who continues to keep this thread going :)

Can you please put me down for the same again, £60 a week.

There MUST be a way of making it easier to live on £60 a week? I know that my weekly bottle of £8 wine has to go, so last month i changed it to a £4 bottle instead :rotfl: Well, it progress :)

In all seriousness though, i dont understand why i find it so hard with myself, my 2 boys (9 and 13), to eat on £60 a week?
  • First weekly shop of the month and I (over)spent £85.90, I forgot tinned tomatoes and pasta. Spag Bol won't be the same this week:rotfl:

I should only need to do small shop next week though.
  • Hi folks, my first shop of the month and £50.40 spent in Lidl. I have stocked up on things that can go in the freezer - milk, bread, rolls, mince, bacon, chips, gammon joints, pastry etc as well as loo rolls, veg etc.

I did my first shop this month at Aldi. I spent £41.72 and got £5 off using the Dly Mirror voucher so £37.72. I got loads of pasta, rice, tins of things, stocking up really. I have one more voucher left which I need to use by Thursday, so this week I'm going to be over budget but hopefully I can claw back for the remainder of the month. I just wanted to use my vouchers.

    £41.72 - £5 = £36.72 - you're short changing yourself!
