    Hi everyone,

    Budgets done to here :)

First spends of our April GC today. £9.40 in B**ts on shampoo, cotton wool and ladies things. Then £45.84 in Tosco after the £5 voucher. Will update sig in a minute.

Dinner tonight is hm pizzas for DH and 3 children. I will use up the pepperoni and mozzarella I got from A!dis last time I went. I will be having the lo rice, cous cous and salad from the weekend.

Dinner tomorrow is lamb curry with rice and naan. Will use lo roast lamb from the freezer so must remember to get that out tonight!

I'm liking the look of the pyrex offer in Tosco. I have collected vouchers before and got glasses, cutlery and luggage. All very good quality imo.

    Have a good evening all.

Forgot to say Becsxxx - hope you are okay. I had a near miss today on the motorway when a numpty in a van tried to undertake me on the inside lane. I was pulling over at the time and didn't see him. Felt very shaken afterwards, but luckily nothing came of it.

I already have a pyrex dish like the ones on offer, I love it. I have been saving the tokens and got the biggest dish. I think I paid £4.49 for it. We are a family of 6 with adult appetites, this is a good size for a deep lasagne.

I usually make a couple of lasagnes each school holiday, having a lid, this will save me using lots of clingfilm to wrap it in before putting in the freezer.

    NSD today :j

Made a bolognaise today which we had with HM Cajun wedges and there is enough left to make a lasagne too.

I need to go shopping tomorrow , I've done a list and will definitely stick to it
  • Oooh becsxxx that sounds horrible, I had a small bump in October with £200 excess followed rapidly by needing 4 new tyres, ugh. Main thing is you are safe though!

Well, I have had my second NSD of the month. Dug out some HM soup from the freezer (which turned out to be delicious) to take to work, quorn fillets and chips for dinner and used up all the squashy bananas in the fruit bowl by making banana and fruit cake - yum! Must try not to eat it all....

Wine delivery, 2 graze boxes and 2 shopping trips makes this week an expensive week! 40% through target already but our freezer is well stocked with meat and so hopefully only veg and top up shops needed for most of this month! Although I will probably use up my 2 £5 Tesco vouchers next week and stock up on toilet rolls, nappies etc to make the most of the savings! :)

Great that you are all okay - Becxxx.
NSD here but getting short of stuff.
For dinner we had HM wedges with honey roast gammon and roasted veggies - beetroot/orange pepper/red onions and white onion in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and demerara sugar.

Another update. I spent a further £5.53 today. 2 x YS cheese £1.59, YS chicken thighs (6 in a pack) £2.70, 1 x 4pint YS milk 72p and YS yoghurts 54p. I think i spoke too soon in an earlier post about keeping to £40 this month. But again i cant knock back the YS bargains when i see them. I have got to visit A**i for their super 6 on saturday and then again during the week for next weeks super 6.
