Thanks for starting the thread for April, Zippy, and hope you're feeling a bit better now. I'm just starting to get to the planning stage for April and will be continuing my annual budget. That does mean I won't be starting until 1st April (week on Monday).

That said, I'm definitely going to be browsing the recipe links for new things for my mealplans. Some of those look yummy! Won't have a lot of time in April and there may be a gap in my posting but I'll be keeping notes at home still and will post when I can.

  • Hi Zippy, i hope your feeling a bit better now. Im reducing my spends this month, ive just come back from my hols. A nice break from the snow and ice here. Can you put me down for £40 please. Its going to be a bit tight but ive got a lot of food left except dairy and fridge food. My challenge started on 15/03/13 (as i get paid 4 weekly) and finishes 12/04/13. Thankyou.

Hi, please can I join in this month? I really need to get my food bills under control.

Can you put me down for £250 for April please and I will go from there.

    Thank you :)
  • £300 for the next 4 weeks to include all petrol, but we have loads in, so hopefully we will be able to save some.

    Hi zippychick, coxy and all

Thanks for the new thread, hope you're feeling better zippy.

Going to reduce the budget for April so could you put me down for lower amount of £325 please.

Will see how we get on but I really need to reduce monthly spending, not done too badly the last few months so now is as good a time as any to start lowering the target.

Staying on March til the end of the month so will be over here on the 1st.

Good luck to all for April.

I still have one more shop in March to go, but might as well commit to April as it is up and running. Reducing it again to £240 please.( I don't know how to make the numbers bigger on my IPad !)
