Make sure that you factor in some time for yourself. Do whatever you need to reduce your stress levels but make sure you do it. It's a long time to be going on with lots on your plate.
Thanks CCL, I will do that very soon. Once these next few weeks are out of the way, I'll get moved then I'm going to concentrate on looking after myself while I get through the commuting months. I want to look after myself more, I've taken my eye off the ball with health so I need to address thatMoving home is always stressful! Commuting can be stressful too, but I think if you have light at the end of the tunnel so to speak you'll be able to hunker down and get on with it.
I always mean to do surveys and signed up to PA ages ago but they never send me anything any more. You earn so much doing them, are there specific ones which are 'better' to sign up to?
Haha never doing it again after this! Definitely right there, at least I'll know it will only be for 2 months. What's that out the rest of my life :rotfl:
PA is really good but I rarely get invites, you need to be online when they go live. 0nepoll and Y0ugov are slow burners but great when you reach payout. Opini0n Outp0st are good too and you can cash out on small payments so good for a £2.50 quick win. Apart from VO, I'm trying to stick to the ones that pay cash. P0pulusLiv3 aren't very frequent but the surveys are good.

Well, I'm really making use of that home emergency cover I took out alongside my home insurance. I got home from shopping and had trouble getting in, the door lock seemed to be really stiff and then to my horror, I couldn't lock it once I was inside. Panic for a few minutes........then brainwave :T I wasn't sure if it was classed as a home emergency so a quick look at the FAQ's on the website for Nati0nwide seemed to suggest that making your home safe and secure was what it was for and not being able to lock my front door is not secure  I rang and hurrah, it was covered :j
They were so efficient sorting it out, the contractor rang and said the locksmith would ring to let me know when he was on his way, he did, and I only had to wait 2 and half hours from my initial phone call for it to be fixed. And hurrah for not having to sleep downstairs tonight with one eye open clutching a baseball bat :rotfl:
I've done nothing else today really, apart from shopping, visiting the folks, getting petrol then fretting about my door lock. Tomorrow I intend to do some scrapbooking and maybe pack a couple of boxes. I need to catch up with the last episode of Trust Me before I forget too. Unfortunately I'm working all 5 days this week:( so I want to chill before the madness starts. Hurry up solicitors and get on with it...... I want to move

Thank you, it was a bit worrying. I'm paranoid anyway about locking my door and being safe but to not be able to lock it is quite awful! They really should set up some sort of counselling / hold your hand service when buying and selling houses, just someone to sympathise and reassure you and prod these solictors :rotfl:Glad you had the right cover.

Have I moved?
That would be a no :mad:
Stiiiillllllllllllllll waiting, getting more and more stressed and irritated by the day and I don't know when it's going to end. I knew it was going to be stressful, I really did know, but it's a necessary evil if I want to move back to my hometown.
I have been really quite spendy which has just carried on all month. Not spending vast amounts, but definitely in the fritter category. When I've been quite good the last couple of years, it's been a bit weird to get so carried away, well more carried away than normal. About 10 days ago I only had £20 left in my main account so I had to borrow from savings to cover me. It was only the money I'd saved after last payday so my total debt hasn't gone up. I am grateful that I did have that money to use but still annoyed that I didn't need to spend it.
I've been trying to analyse ***cough**** justify why I've been like this and I think it's either
1. trying to cheer myself up from the stress of moving
2. a reaction to being quite "careful" in the last couple of years
3. a fear of not being able to fritter or be spendy when I start the new job
4. joining a house interiors group on FB and pretty much falling for things I've seen on there, and thinking how lovely they'd look in my new flat :rotfl:
Oh well, what's done is done and it's payday tomorrow so need to knuckle down and hold on to as much of my pay as possible
The new job has been asking for a start date and I've managed to hold them off for another couple of weeks. Once I've exchanged though, I'll be sorting that start date out, I can't delay much longer. I was going to try and wait until I'd actually moved but exchange will have to do!!
I hate my job more and more everyday. Another close friend is leaving this week, there's people on long term sick, everyone is unhappy, and I can't wait to leave that sinking ship
I had a blood test and while no one has actually said the words, I think I'm anaemic. This is my conclusion as they've put me on folic acid and I'm having a b12 injection this week  Blood pressure was perfect though so some good news from my GP. God only knows how that was normal with all the stress but I shan't question it. Just grateful to not be totally falling apart :rotfl:
Despite all the spendy spenderson behaviour, I've still been tracking my spends and survey income. This is clearly my default position in spite of everything :rotfl:;)Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

You are a girl with a plan and it will all come good in the end, but it sounds stressful. Maybe give yourself a 'surviving the house sale' fund to treat yourself over this difficult hump (and that is all it is).
Sorry about the rubbish atmosphere at work but hold on to the fact that you have an out.
