I think I may do a similar thing on my day off this week. I could do with clearing out the cupboard under the stairs and putting some of my clothes in the loft. You're an inspiration, Ena.
Well done on you planned 5 NSDs. :T
Thanks Catriona. I would have loved to sold my stuff to make money but having the space back is worth so much more. Go for it, it'll make you feel better. I always sleep better after a spring clean so it may help you too
Have you got those vacuum bags for storing clothes? They do keep stuff protected and they store well when the air is sucked out!
Enjoy your day off Wednesday. I'm off too :TDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

I'm thinking of investing in one of those automatic timed cat feeders but seeing as my cat won't go through the cat flap into my bedroom without me propping it open, I'm not sure he'd figure it out :rotfl:Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Reasons to hate my job part 234  My colleague has had her programme changed so I won't see her on a Monday now and they've also cancelled another small meeting group so I don't see my colleagues then. And they want to make another meeting I attend every other month instead of monthly. As a result, I'll only see colleagues at a monthly staff meeting, which mostly leaves me wanting to crash into a wall at high speed on the way home.....or cry. I know they want us to be more productive but it's gone from having a bit of downtime / networking / support / moaning session to being quite isolated

My friend is coming round on Saturday and will give me £20 for doing a little job for her. I won't have it long as I'm out in the evening for a friend's birthday.I still need to get a small pressie which I'll have to get on Saturday due to my self imposed NSD target. £10 max then £10 for a meal and I'll drink water as I'm driving. .........if I have a spare £2 from that, I'll be even happier

I've been thinking about goals that I'd like to achieve this year. Here goes.....
* Read 1 book per fortnight then get rid of it.......or keep it if I really enjoyed it and would read it again
* Read 1 magazine per week until I've got rid of the 26 I've got stashed away. I cancelled my Ide@l H0me subscription a year ago but I still have all the 2014 copies to read. I recycled the 2013 copies to the tip......those decorating ideas will be so not on trend now;) I still subscribe to Your H0me so I really need to catch up with this before it gets out of hand
* Watch 1 dvd per fortnight and then get rid of it. I've bought loads in charity shops over the years and never watched them. I think I thought if the world ended I'd have something to watch! Madness! :rotfl:
* Use up all my smellies and beauty products before buying more. The only things I really need will be shampoo and deodorant. I do not need lip balms, although I confess I've recently bought 3, and had 3 for Christmas so now I have something like 37 lip balms to use up. What is wrong with me?
* Get my new laptop sorted. I bought it in August and it's still in its box! My old laptop now has many problems such as overheating and several keys not working. The keys T, P, U, J, 3, 5 haven't worked for ages, but now the space bar, V, and B aren't working. Gawd knows how I've managed to do so many surveysI've had to copy and paste but now the V isn't working so I can't use Ctrl+V to paste and now the space bar not working is the final straw. That laptop is going to be taken outside and smashed into 1000 tiny pieces once my new one is up and running
* Declutter my craft stash again. I haven't bought any new stuff for months but I need to be strong and get rid of some nice stuff I've had years that in all honesty I'm unlikely to use
* Get the final radiator replaced - getting a quote tomorrow
* Get the spare room decorated so the lodger experiment can begin
* Replace the fence at the back of my garden. 2 separate storms blew down the left hand side panels first, then the right panels. The only thing standing is the gate in the middle :rotfl:
* Get quotes for having the bath taken out and replaced with a fancy double shower enclosure
* Decorate the hall, stairs and landing - this is probably last on my house list as I'd rather all the other upstairs jobs get done first incase of damage by work people
* Get a dodgy floorboard fixed upstairs
* Decorate my bedroom and get something done with a cupboard that is used for storage. I plan to declutter the cupboard and turn it into a wardrobe with shelf space
* Get curtains in my lounge to make it a bit more homely. The blind is lovely but nice curtains will really finish it off
* Log my food intake on MFP and generally keep losing weight and looking after myself
* See my friends more and try and be a bit more sociable
* Get all my CD's onto a computer / iTun3s and sell them or donate them. Not really sure what I'm doing with that but I don't listen to them anymore. Just seems a shame not to have access to them though
* Join a gym or do something exercise wise after Easter. I've seen a Thai Boxing Club which looks fun, plus it's a tick on the being more sociable goal
* Keep debt busting / earning / budgeting / saving :money:
* Work towards a new career but I guess by achieving all these goals, I am working towards it. Well I'm working towards something for sure
* And finally.....world peace;):D

Hi Ena, those are great goals!
I've always wanted a double shower too, but am too scared to ask for quotes in case it's £££££. It fills me with horror thinking of having to re-tile my bathroom etc, so I just leave it lol.0 -
What a fantastic list and lots of varied goals. Best of luck! Not giving up
