Heath, grammar school boy, not fit to lead.
You need a decent private education to run the country, just ask Blair and Balls.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • 'That nice Mr Heath' as my mother used to say.

............. the man who did more damage to this country in four years than Adolf Hitler managed in 6 !!

Harold Wilson was also a grammar-school boy who was astute enough to keep us out of the Vietnam War. Not like Blair, who followed blindly into attacking Iraq.

OK, but I really do doubt that she's 'oblivious' (the word you used) to the fact she can claim her state pension.

LOL, you don't know my friend, she is oblivious to lots of things, believe me. In her own little world, too busy to notice things like money matters.

The synonyms used in this definition just about sum her up:

    oblivious

    adjective
    1.
not aware of or concerned about what is happening around one.
"she became absorbed, oblivious to the passage of time"
synonyms: unaware, unconscious, heedless, unmindful, insensible, unheeding, ignorant, blind, deaf, unsuspecting, unobservant, disregardful, unconcerned, impervious, unaffected, insensitive, indifferent, detached, removed; rareincognizant

Really. Unsurprisingly, she lives to work, no regard for money. I agree, there are not many people like her!

Last year, my OH and I each received £100. This year, my OH has had word that he will be getting the entire £200 :( While I appreciate that as a household we will still be getting the same amount, I am the one who actually used my £100 to buy coal last year and this year I have nothing.
