There's also a stress element. Look at Obama and Blair
NDG will probably know what I'm on about here; 'Now I know that in Israel’s vibrant democracy, every word and gesture is carefully scrutinized. But just so you know, any drama between me and my friend Bibi over the years was just a plot to create material for Eretz Nehederet.'
Brilliantly handled💙💛 💔0 -
Now that we know the wreck isn't worth diddly squat and we are changing onto a fixed mortgage I need to go and show my documents. We planned to do ths with a day time date in Bath, grabbing some lunch and looking at a radiator our plumber wants us to see and doing some window shopping.
I'm pretty annoyed this morning to know there is no way I could walk around Bath today. We looked up parking and where the Bank branches are and the shops we want to look at, and I'd be in tears I think today..
Local Bank, and as its not the rain it was mean t to be, sme grass cutting I suppose afterwards for me on the mobility lawn mower, and hedges and strumming for DH. Not bad, but not the same as wandering through bath hand in hand!0 -

Why swap the day time date in Bath for 'chores'? Could you do some of it (i.e bank and lunch)?
Can you have a day time date somewhere else that is a bit more doable to how you are feeling?
If you are set on gardening now, have you got a bottle of something special or fizzy to sit down and drink together in the afternoon?
Having dating time is important.0 -

Cos I'm grumpy?:o:D. Can't drink, everything tastes funny so food isn't much fun really. Bath like most lovely places, is always less than easy because its not flat, and as well as my muscles going into spasm today (calves are exceptionally bad) I just have no stamina, my own stairs are leaving me breathless..
Getting to the bank in bath alone was going to cause problems, we looked at all the main parking options, (bank is at other end of town so we could have parked then moved) but its still going to be just too much. Its not the sort of day that a stick helps because its not that sort of infirm, ....a bed on wheels might help! :rotfl:
We managed some dating time (sort of) on Thursday night, but then half way through something happened and we had some kids on site that needed to be sent on their way!
We have some a couple of days coming up next week and then four days in September.0 -
Actually, I really wish we could have a nice glass of wine. I don't want to drink a lot, but a nice glass of a beautiful crisp white wine (I actually don't tolerate white wine very well anyway) would be delicious on these hot days. Or a long fruity cocktail.
Alcohol is also one of the few things that relieves the ruddy muscles a bit.0 -

Lir, forgive me for asking but do you have a Blue Badge? It strikes me as one of those times that having one could make things easier for you. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I was around Pastures but thought the same:rotfl:. I was so bored I went looking round other boards for something to post. Then went to bed.
I did see the World's Busiest Hotel though. Wow! The Venetian in Las Vegas gets 50,000 visitors a day. The operations management behind the scenes was astonishing. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
