Hamish, assuming it all goes through ok (not counting any chickens yet), this boom you're talking about had better bloody happen!
They'll be rocketing soon enough.
You girls better hold on tight.;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Congrats N.
We really need to get out house hunting off the ground. It's not looking promising, enquired about a new listing to be told they had 15 viewings already booked in on Saturday (we kind of know the agent so it probably isn't a lie either). Our friends are looking in the same area and offered 12k over the asking price on something only to be told (by the same agent) that they were tens of thousands short... We might need to consider a slightly less popular area.0 -

Thanks
Obviously this is just the start of a long and stressful process which isn't guaranteed to end well...
but this house only popped up on my search when I upped my price limit and opened up my location preferences. I.e. it was above what I was aiming to pay, and not quite where I was aiming for
Its also quite depressing seeing what Zoopla thinks it last sold for (1998), but nevermind. Once I've un-student-letted it I'm sure it'll be great0 -
