I now have 1.5 kilos (approx 3.5lbs) of raspberries. I fear this is rather a lot of raspberries and I have yet to weigh the gooseberries. we don't eat a lot of jam so that's out but I was wondering if cordials is a good idea? Probably raspberry and gooseberry. Can you whizz gooseberry into a smoothie?
Any other ideas? Something without pips would be best as I hate finding them in my molars.
Between a couple of people, 1.5 kilos of raspberries is just 'food', ie you eat them over a couple of days at the rate of about 5 portions of raspberries a day each. Very delicious and very healthy.
I can't see the problem. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

No idea what the first thing is, second thing I've only ever seen in period dramas on the telly.0 -

Edited to add - perhaps all barristers are in your pit anyway, regardless of attire (-:

I can neither confirm nor deny that as I may well end up in a pit. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I have a Santos which appealed to me more given my flying connections and the history of the watch, although have been wearing a Chronoscaph lately as need to get the Santos band adjusted thanks to dieting.
They're not particularly high maintenance though?
We've had ours for over a decade, no real issues.
I like to buy and sell vintage Omega watches and those are some of my favourites, I'd say I like to buy and sell vintage Cartier as well, but actually there's a lot of buying and I can rarely bring myself to sell.:(
I'm not a huge fan of Rolex, I've had a Sub in the past, but sold it.
I do very much like these yacht masters though, and will probably give in one day....

I just wear a 30-quid Pulsar watch. It is extremely accurate, reasonably water-resistant, and nobody is going to mug me for it. It looks okay, nothing fancy, and it is fairly light. After say 10 years, it will give up the ghost, and I'll buy another. If I lose it, it does not matter.
The Rolexes, OTOH, lose out to mine on every count except water-resistance.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Well, one would think so ... except that he clearly prefers when things aren't tidied up, and he'd rather wash his own passport, and I remember the collective NP surprise ages ago when lir suggested he spend his weekend having lots of sex and he said he'd rather not. Don't know about the cooking, though, and of course it's possible that she thinks he's marvellous. :think:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
