Heat? Frustration at work? You live by the sea, take advantage, go for a long night walk on the beach, wish I could.
    I think....

That made me smile as it brought back memories of Nikki off big brother that DW insisted on watching.

It reminded me of her too.
Talk about someone giving Nikkis everywhere a bad name

It's probably the mixed up feelings of guilt and shame that [a] you're doing s0d all on a hot Friday evening .... and you're wasting the good weather and done s0d all on a hot Friday evening.

The guilt and shame that comes when you know others will ask what you did and you can't say "sat in my pants watching the telly and eating coco pops from the box" ... and you know they're about to then tell you about what a fab night out they had....

Welcome essvana (if your genuine) and society child :)

That Nikki was really annoying but "our" Nikki is a top chick. Everyone knows that!

Can't get too excited about bathrooms. I do like a "rainwater" shower head but... Well Kitchens are far more exciting :j

Had the washing machine guy out today. My 3+ year old big drum Pannasonic washing machine is making noises so he condemned it as they don't fix the bearings.
They are either going to give me a new one (with a new 5 year warranty) or a credit note for what I paid. Result!!

Sam's on holiday for a week, starting today, which makes life feel a bit more stressful. I dropped Isaac at school this morning, came home quickly, changed, and went to the High Court, then after that came back to change back into nice summer stuff, and went to collect Isaac at half 3.

Isaac said, "I thought you were in court today!" and when I told him I was, asked "why are you wearing flowers, then? You aren't allowed to wear flowers in court". A floral dress, by the way, not actual flowers.

WE came back, I bribed him into silence with allowing him to play computer games while I knocked out a quick opinion, and then we continued in our "build a balsa wood spitfire" activity. We'd have lost the Battle of Britain if they'd relied on the likes of me to build the damn things.

Tomorrow I'm on taking-Isaac-to-school and collecting-him-at-midday duty, because OH is in the Court of Appeal. Monday, OH gets him, I'm in court, as summer holidays are then in full flow.

Feels a bit more complicated than usual.

Good luck with the juggling...I remember it well and it was a nightmare.....all we really wanted to do throughout the school hols was hang out altogether but, instead one of us would hold the fort to keep the £££ dribbling in and we always felt we didn't do either thing well at all.

One of my colleagues has just spent rather a lot of money on a new bathroom. I've been asking when we are being invited round for the bathroom-warming :)

I must take photo of ours downstairs.....as we nicked some space off the old garage to convert the downstairs loo into a luxe shower room. It's still got a bit of snagging to do but once it's done, no way are we going to use it as it's far too luxe.

I have never owned a posh hotel standard bathroom before and it's now really stressful after all the expense and hassle.
I can't face having it ruined with limescale.....+ I also can't face cleaning 2 bathrooms a week instead of 1......so we have decided to keep it for best and visitors and emergencies (when 2 people need to shower at the same time (who don't want to share). We can't have visitors for a long while as most of the rest of the house is still in a state of semi-destruction.
New lounge got plastered this week.

But we have had to close the purse now as a few unexpected happenings happened this week (is that correct grammar NGD?)

1; not a bad one but have had some large orders in so got to keep cashflow strong so no more divis for now

2; MIL new living arrangements we have to fund until her pension credit and stuff kick in. It's costly

3; bad phone call today from one of siblings who has just been dinged for a large sum (5 figs) and is now in the s***.

Has helped me in the past, will live on dust for as long as needs to but I had to make transfer today and don't know when it will come back. Family innit.

So, think of me NP's as I sit here in my rotting camping kitchen, looking at the room next door full of tools, and it's new concrete floor lined with rows pipes and sockets hanging out the wall. It could be like this for a while.:(

£4.50 yesterday in the end. But it's not how much it does, but how much it COULD that drives me. It used to generate £50 once set up and left alone, so I could choose if/when I fiddled. But the game rules changed and I am now trying to play a catch up..... believing I can get things back to how they were, while discovering the new rules of the game and trying to learn new games :)

It'd be daft for me to have just left the site as it was, abandoned for 2 years, this is just housekeeping/maintenance work really, plus a virtual "new lick of paint" and new content.

Every day I believe "today is the day when I will see a difference, the corner will be turned".

I cancelled our google ad a few weeks back as an experiment.... I was always up to our monthly limit, got plagued with calls and notes posted to us to let them help us with it (ie; raise our cap) and we don't think we have dropped sales at all as there has been little difference in traffic/conversion.
So I have no idea who clicks on them and why I pay Google....it's not nice paying out for an invisible thing.

It was capped @ £500 pcm as when we 1st did it...it was over a grand in just 2 weeks so I capped it quick.

I mainly used adwords for typos on our brand name ...next time I'll do one that spells as it says.

Lots of good karma credits though.

    Nice weather for camping anyway.
