No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

It's all very odd. It was an oddly beautiful start to a relationship and a very commonplace stereotypicalyl ugly end it seems.

BUT that's only what it seems...you never know what goes on inside a relationship. Sometimes, indeed, it seems to me each half of it seems blind to the other half.

I didn't think the start was that comfortable - their were rumours that they had started shenanigans while John Diamond was still alive. In fact JD alluded to it in one of his articles near the end, saying something like he would like NL to have new relationships after he is gone but he would like to be cold in his grave (rather than still warm).

I cannot for the life of me understand why people buy smash, or ready made mash. The height of laziness imo. Up there with ice cubes, ready sliced cheese, ready grated cheese & other such "time saving" innovations that really are not worth the journey/effort & taste like muck.
It's handy to have a packet lurking "in case".

As for the other things, there's laziness and some instances of it being OK.

e.g. ice cubes if you were having a BBQ/party at short notice and/or had a small freezer (to use them immediately; ready sliced cheese - it can be a nuisance to mess up, then wash, a knife for one slice; ready grated can be cheaper per Kg then other cheap cheese and, again, it can be a nuisance to grate enough cheese to go in one roll as you've then to wash up the grater... and it's equally a pain to stand and grate a whole pile "in case" you want some in the next few days.

Most sales though are probably laziness, or stupidity. I'd certainly compare the price of the grated cheese -v- block cheese, buying solely on price/Kg.

I have seen all of those in the fridge/ freezer. And it most certainly wasn't me that bought them!

    The lemonjelly fishfinger sandwich::drool:

    bottom layer of bread,
    topped with 1.5 potato waffles
smear waffles with baked beans (approx half a tin)
place 5 fish fingers on top of beans
    top layer of bread

    Om nom nom nom nom.

a layer of cheese is optional...:o
I'd need to eat that outside, it's huge and would go everywhere!

A piggy/main meal fish finger sandwich, for me, would be: two slices of bread, smeared with salad cream, 3 fish fingers, cut sandwich in half. Scoff.

I prefer the sound of yours, except it sounds HUGE and a real handful; I have the hands of a 10 year old for size.... in fact, I've not grown in height since I was 10 (went outwards instead).

I saw on the telly in the past 2 weeks or so an advert for "big fish fingers", which are basically just fish fillets rebranded..... tempting though. One'd be a sandwich worth.

Just googled it, looks like Birds Eye do some chunky ones http://www.birdseye.co.uk/en-uk/range/fish/chunky_fish_fingers_96003197/ and Tesco do their own brand of the same.... but the advert I thought I saw indicated more "fillet shaped" than just a chunkier finger.

I'll send you your fiver later, for your swift and *cough* accurate reply.

Good to see the famed incorruptible British judicial system in operation...oh and isn't 'seamstress' a euphemism?

Going home in a minute - recorder concert to grit teeth through then new bicycle to assemble and cake to bake.
    I think....

Still all kicking off here with youngest, so not had much time to check in....

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

It wash't just rumours aiui. His position, aiui also was inconsistent, as one might expect. I always imagine he must have felt much like I imagine I would feel when I have put my self in that position. Obviously, its a subject close to my heart.

My sibling was a contemporary of laws on, not in touch now though, or for many years .

Is youngest OK? Not hurt himself or anything?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.
