OH is giving up on choosing between a merc convertable and the XF; now he has decided to replace the BMW5 with a newer one.

Problem is that the favoured colour is the colour he has at the moment, with a personalised number plate it won't look that different.

Not sure why that's a problem. For me that would be a bonus.

Did they do that for any particular reason?
It's the summer and his hair makes up a considerable fraction of his body volume. So this should keep him cool. Also easier to bathe him if he rolls in unspeakable foulness

For a moment, there, I was thinking of our children as teenagers ......
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Bandwidth error message :(, I'll attempt again later.
It only resets on 1st of the month..... it's on my To Do List. But top of the To Do List is "earn an income greater than £7/day" ... so it's a long way down.

Lots of spammers/!!!! .... and it'd take my head out of the zone for doing what I'm currently working on .... and likely to become a 2-3 day pain in the butt if I start, so best left alone.

Wow - I'd never in a million years guessed that NP had Peugeot 505 family estates in their past - I think my parents had both a GR and then a GTi which they still had when I was driving, it wasn't really suitable for a 17 year old who had just passed their test, I never crashed it but would have gone off the road once if it hadn't had a limited slip diff.
    I think....

Photos from inside the secret dwarf room.

A couple of np have seen there is one visible back of stair tread and riser in our low ceilinged garden room. Well, from the other side there is this

I suppose it makes sense that where there is the back of a step there will be the front of one, but its still exciting to see. It looks more exciting in the flesh. I obviously cannot get down there but I have been flat on my tummy looking down between joists from the edge of the floor above.

The other thing I cannot quite see is the back of the door I have seen front he other side....the door to the room. It's deliciously rustic but not that ancient I think. I cannot see it myself of course, from that side.

We're going for the door to narnia. We're too old and skeptical to actually know that though, so we're just hopeful. :)

Did you say it could have been a priest hole lir? Fascinating whatever it was.

I had the weirdest night's sleep last night. Does anyone know if it is nesting season? A huge bird tried to get in my bedroom window and nick the driftwood I have in a vase on the windowsill. I went all Tippi Hedren, who apparently had nightmares during filming of the birds. Thankfully I was in the spare room, so this did not disturb still recovering DH.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
