.....I unlocked the bootloader I can't use the official software. I only unlocked the bootloader as that was the easiest way to back up everything on my old phone and restore it on to the new one.

It doesn't look to hard to either relock the boot loader or use a 'flash tool' to do the upgrade
    Whoosh.

I'm leaving it like that - to give some of the non-heterosexual men here the chance to PM you.

    You've been busy again, PN?
Not me, must be those non-heterosexuals hitting on him. He'll have enjoyed that more.

    I just reg'd ......
That's perfect to just run a niche portal. Have some criteria local handmade/ethical companies need to meet to be able to wear the logo and advertise theat they are part of that niche...... e.g. stuff has to be made there, materials have to be sourced from the UK, you have to do a visit to see them making the stuff for real to prove it really IS made by them, there. Brand it.

They pay to be members, they pay a cut on sales through the site.

You can then extend that to being a destination workshop experience and organise premises/tutors to bring people together to make stuff..... that they can then get a certificate of attendance/authenticity to say their item was a MIM item. And get them to like/share the MIM/FB page with their creations .....

And ride that cycle of twee.

You, personally, get to champion your own brand and ethical business model by promoting the work of the others on the telly/radio and in newspapers. You become "the new/better Mary", who actually bothers to be there.

It's a real burgeoning trend and many do get in touch with us for stock. They are usually run alongside a FB page and have 'parties' every so often.

The problem for us a supplier is their main USP is to sell under the normal price (as they have low overheads and no VAT...in fact most are run as cash in hand I would guess) and then that lower price is sitting online and visible in a search of our brand name.....which is a nightmare as we are supplying mainstream chains or independents who need the full mark up from cost to run their businesses.

From the other side. A family member has an independent clothes shop. They often hear of someone selling the brands they stock from their house. They are very upset about it and give the agent lots of grief. As you say, they have VAT and overheads and don't like being undercut. In getting the brand, they have to take a certain level of stock and in return the agent promises them exclusivity within a certain geographic area.

Does he realise that his meltdowns are resulting in the windows being broken? He may not be in control all the time, but he should realise that actions have consequences. As a school child I would be petrified if someone "lost it" and windows were being broken in my vicinity. It may well be the school's fault for his present state of mind - though the asthma can't help, but the school do have a duty of care to protect the other pupils.

I wonder if the asthma is more responsible for his moods. I know that when there has been an overuse of aerasol sprays in my house, I can detect it just by working through the door. It makes me very ratty. At first the family thought I was over reacting to the stink of deoderant, but we have now realised it is a reaction to the aerasol - my breathing becomes tighter and that makes me irritable, subconciously.

Yes, he does realise that actions have consequences and he has been absolutely mortified that the windows have been broken inadvertantly by his meltdowns, which has not helped with his feelings about being in the school...

I doubt it is his asthma, it all goes back to the muck up at the beginning of the school year and the loss of trust he has with the school, the general unsettled feelings and his increased anxiousness. It has only been the last week his asthma has been bad, caused by a horrible cold going round the school.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I have suggested them; my suggestion has been rejected. We now have a 'doors closed when spraying' policy. The problem time is when DS2 has friends over, they all seem to use an excessive amount of deoderant. If they are going out from our house, they seem to give themselves a quick burst before they leave:eek: I hope the objects of their desire appreciate it because I certainly don't.

We have a don't spray in rooms mum is going to go into straight after, or rooms mum is in at the time....sprays are a major trigger for my asthma.

Is the BBC monitoring this thread? I noticed that the Now Show ran a routine about that advert for a free room with a strange costume, that we all agreed was very strange.;)

Even stranger that an update says someone's accepted it!

I may have....errm.....inadvertently mentioned it to one of our lot, who also works for Bedder 6.

Sorry if I caused any offense :o

This is a major lightbulb moment for me. I never realised that young people still used aerosols. You live and learn.
