Sorry but that's a brilliant lirism.

I'm sure it's "in judgment", not "of". I did Antony and Cleopatra for A level, and large chunks of it stick in my mind still.

DH will hopefully be home tomorrow and is making a good recovery after a hairy few days. I am knackered, going back and forth to hospital all the time and will be glad to have him home. The hospital is not local, so going back and forth isn't straightforward.

Lurcher dog is lovely. She's more hound than their last lurcher but very similar temperament. She went to my brother's on Saturday and considering it was her first visit and even her first day with my parents, she just padded around the garden having an explore and eating grass. She's very placid - something that lurcher owners love about their dogs. They tend to be very self-contained and easy going.

I'm feeling healthy at the moment....can always change in an instant.

One of my hounds is a bitzer, and I'm sure one of her bitz, is lurcher - very houndy, very laid-back.

PS when I said aged 49 before, I was only 48 yesterday;)

Random LL strikes again. Firstly, I was outside (crafty smoke) at 07:45 when I saw what looked like a potential burglar's hand reaching over their far fence.... it was the LL (they've their car there). I next had a shower and there was a knock at the door (8am), which I answered, dripping, it was the LL saying they were getting their car and would be looking at/clearing the gutters - although they didn't indicate when.

Suddenly, 2 hours later, I can hear odd noises..... sounds like there's somebody on the roof - must be them!
