Depends how big your mortgage is - 2.45% with a 2k fee is more what I am looking at (Halifax / C&G)
DD1 did the invites for her party on the computer and handed them all out - apparently the party is on the 14th not the intended 13th...don't know what we will do if the entertainer can't make the switch. Still at least we discovered today rather than sitting there on the 13th waiting for people to arrive....I think....0 -

Renting sucks.
Does if help if I tell you my 250k mortgage is 500 a month?I think....0 -

Oh, what a mistake, but how enterprising of her to sort them out!
We're with c and g, That does sound better, that's five year fix too? Lost in RATES was chosen for a reason. My head is spinning with this. They also ask how much the house is worth, I say what we paid for it and then they say 'but how much do you think its worth now' and I think...really....this is how we do thinks...you ask me if I think our purchase price plus some money spent equals a house worth lots more automatically (IMO, looking at the longer plan we have taken decisions that short term DEVALUE the house, but the planning is a value thing I guess) oh, and the fact its not falling down anymore and has much more useable space as a results,:D. So what our percentage equity is I dunno but don't feel it can be based on 'what do you think its worth now then' type questions.0 -

Ours is £445k, and £1,050 / month. That's interest-only, though....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Sounds pretty good lir. I think what they will say is that it depends on the size of the mortgage as to what the £999 works out as a percentage of the total. In that the higher the mortgage, the lower the £999 is as a proportion of it and therefore the better the deal. For example, next time we remortgage, we will have a very small amount outstanding - about £30k, so the arrangement fee would be too high for us.
Sorry, I'm a bit slow on the uptake tonight and have cross posted with michaels. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
